Wow, 24 hour turnaround on an amp repair. Sounds great now, very fair price, nice people. Lots of inventory so the next AV item I need like radios, reel-reel, amps and rack accessories.

I paid 60$ to repair a radio only to find out that it's in the same condition as I dropped it off in. Switches and knobs are noisy, do not work properly and dips in volumes are much worse now. I was scammed

I brought in an old, used MiniDV camera that I got off eBay (that worked for a couple days, then stopped working right). I was nervous that older piece of technology like this wouldn't be able to be fixed, but the guy there said he would try his best, but also warning me that it's possible he might not be able to actually repair it 100%. I kept my fingers crossed and came back a week later (it was actually ready a couple days after I dropped it off, but since they aren't open on the weekends, my schedule didn't allow me to go pick up during their regular business hours).
It ended up being slightly cheaper than originally quoted (oh, and they're CASH ONLY, so I had to run to an ATM and come back), and when I brought it home to try out, IT WORKED! I'm so happy that I'll be able to transfer some of my old tapes and digitize them now!

Lovely owner! After trying to contact Seinheiser for months trying to get my headphones repaired I was referred here. He fixed my gear in 30 mins and the cost was very reasonable. Ty!

Advent 300 no workie but after taking it to Hi-Tech, it now works perfectly. Frank is knowledgeable and genuinely cares about these older electronics. He was kind enough to give me some spade cable crimps to make sure that I wouldn't run into the same issue with my receiver. Also super quick turnaround and great communication.

Friendly, knowledgeable electronics repair just off the F train East Broadway stop. The owner took a quick look at a Video Walkman I brought in and was able to immediately diagnose the problem. All the machine needed was a simple head cleaning, which he performed on the spot-free of charge! It doesn't get much better than that! Plus, they've got a great stash of vintage electronics. I'm so glad I stopped in and happy to know that shops like this still exist in NYC. Thanks, Hi Tech!
