Renew Computers, founded in 1988, is the largest independent electronics recycling company in Marin County, California. We have a warehouse facility and service center centrally located in downtown San Rafael where computers and electronics are collected, sorted, repaired, reused or properly recycled. We have a staff of qualified technicians that work hard to bring these computers back to life and fortunately we are able to reuse many quality products that would otherwise go to landfill or be scrapped.

A Renew Employee must receive your items; dumping or just leaving items anytime is not allowed. We can help you unload heavy items please ask any member of our team. Plasma/LCD/LED TVs and rear-projection TVs (We do Not accept the original boxing/packaging, No wall mounts). Please remember to remove any linked accounts on your devices like Apple ID, etc before recycling/donating. For companies and organizations with very large loads please call for a quote and pricing; a 'very large load' is two or more pallet's of ewaste.

These machines may have come from a school or corporation or organization that have upgraded to newer equipment, or they may have been donated by the public or built from the ground up using quality used parts and/or new parts too.

Our team also specializes in PC and Apple computer repair and service. We have extensive knowledge of all computers new and old and remain up to date with the current threats facing today's modern user. We try to keep our rates lower and our turn-around time faster than other shops in Marin, especially the big box stores.
Data/HardDrive Destruction

If not concerned about your data you may drop off any hard drive or computer at no charge; It will be shredded at our downstream recycler within one to two weeks. Please take measures to wipe or clear your own devices before recycling them. For businesses in need of data destruction on a larger scale we are fully equipped to wipe or destroy all types of hard drives and/or devices using effective industry standards.
