I first met Patrick Granahan, the genius behind Techs in Cars, a few years ago when he rescued and restored my iMac. He has helped me -- no, saved me and my computer and iPad -- two additional times. After returning from a three week trip a few days ago, I tried to open my iMac, but I used the wrong password. I tried several times to change my password, but my computer refused to let me enter. I continued and continued, but no luck.

So what did I do? I called the computer whiz who has saved me before. Patrick arrived shortly and solved my problem, as I expected him to. What a knowledgeable, efficient, polite person! Techs in Cars is the ONLY computer company you should ever call.

I love my 2012 iMac, but when it developed a problem the MAC Store told me it was too vintage to work on and to buy a new computer. I contacted Patrick out of desperation, and he came the next business day to check things out. A few days later I had my Mac back, operating better than ever! He diagnosed the problem with ease, and kept me in the loop. I highly recommend him!

(Note, I am in DC, not NYC) I had issues with 2 laptops that are not new but didn't work. I got in touch with Patrick and his response time was amazing, right away! Then he worked with my schedule to meet me at my home, came in, knew almost right away what the problem was, took the laptops with him and within 24 hours had 1 fixed perfectly, he took the docs and pics off the older one, put them on the desktop of the newer one so I did not lose anything!

Then he charged me the most reasonable price I could imagine! He was so nice, professional and I now have his number locked in my phone. Run do not walk to your phone and get Patrick to work his magic. I give him 100 stars!

Patrick is a consummate professional. He spent 20 minutes of his own time going over the issue on the phone and guiding me to try different options before he offered to come by for service. Once here, he did a comprehensive assessment and and had my WiFi issue resolved in no time. He was super transparent about his approach and his pricing. Patrick is not really knowledgeable, he's responsive and courteous. I highly recommend him.

Patrick was able to get my locked laptop unlocked and retrieve my data when CostCo and HP were both telling me I'd have to do a factory reset and lose my data. He was very responsive, explained things clearly, and even came to pick up and drop off my laptop, all for a reasonable price that matched his quote. I would definitely call him again for similar issues.
