I stopped by on a Saturday afternoon. I have an IPhone15 max that had a cracked screen, or so I thought. The gentleman told me it would be a couple hundred dollars to repair the phone. He then took out some type of eyeglass and looked closer then told me it was only the screen protector that was damaged and there was no reason to replace the glass screen. I thanked him several times because I was so surprised by his honesty.
Honestly today is a lost characteristic in people, but this man stood out as a honest man.
I DEFINITELY WOULD use his business for any of my electronic repairs in the future!!

Great service! My mom went here to get her computer fixed and she highly recommended 911 tech. My ps5 hdmi port was broken when I brought it in. Drop off was quick and was ready the next day! It was fixed and cleaned out! Had photos to show me why I had some other problems with it and explained how to avoid getting theses problem again. Awesome! I took my laptop in on a Monday morning and in the afternoon he called and explained the problems and what he did to fix them. One problem was not fixable without buying a used motherboard for a replacement part but there was a work-around: use the mouse. On Tuesday he called and said the laptop was ready. He answered all my questions and his price was reasonable. I'm sure I'll be back for more help in the future.

I brought my mother's old tower computer to 911 Tech Repair when it was dead as a door nail. She is 88 years old and has vision issues. I asked Frank if he could bring it back to life for her and he gave me a dire assessment of its health after he took a look at it. I thought it was a goner, but he told me that it could be repaired. In the end, he replaced the mother board, CPU, and power supply and was able to get it back in her apartment and working perfectly once again. The topper is that the price was so reasonable too! Thank you 991 Tech Repair and Frank, my mother was overjoyed to have her computer back up and running!

I cracked my phone screen a few weeks back, just before Christmas, and decided to give 911 Tech Repair in Crystal Lake a call. Frank was able to replace my Moto G Stylus 5g (2022) screen in a very timely manner. He ordered the genuine Motorola parts online, and they came in a couple of days. Most other shops in the area gave estimates of 1 week for the parts to arrive. Price was reasonable, and I was very happy with the results & service. I highly recommend this place if you ever find yourself in need of tech repair!

I had a great experience with 911 Tech Repair in Crystal Lake. I thought my iPad only needed a simple button fix and a few other minor tweaks when I brought it in on December 13, 2025. However Frank the technician helped find that the iPad needed a whole new motherboard. Although the repair took a very long time due to needing to order new parts, my iPad works as almost brand new. Frank was so kind and patient and charged me a very fair price for the work, I will definitely be back with any future tech issues. (Written 1-21-26)

I recently brought 2 systems in for hardware repair and a windows update and was very happy with the results. The first system was a high end PC laptop that had a snapped hinged. They were able to source all the parts and get me running for an affordable price. I was very happy with the quality of work on my laptop.
I also brought in a desktop PC that other places said couldn't be upgrade from windows 10 to 11. They were able to get me up and running with a fresh install of windows 11 and now I don't have to buy a new PC. It still has plenty of life left. Thank you!

I accidentally closed my trunk on my phone. Then did it AGAIN beforei realisedwhat I'd done. Thankfully 911 Tech Repair, not only had my parts, 15 min after walking in the owner was working on it!! Very cool guy, he finished in about 45 min even while taking calls and helping a few other customers!! I highly recommend this shop!! As well as the Owner!!
