I found out there are multiple methods to wipe data from a hard drive. Overwriting, degaussing and physical destruction. We choose degaussing.

We upgraded our companies computers and we needed to have the data destroyed for security reasons. MDofPC offers free onsite pickup of the computers and free certified data destruction. Once the drives have been wiped we will get a certificate of destruction.

They take laptops, tablets, desktops, lcd monitors, phones, gaming consoles, keyboards, mice, speakers, cables and more. MDofPC does not take crt monitors, printers, tvs, appliances, dvd players, fridges and vhs.

After reading positive testimonials about MDofPC I called and the technician came to my home that same evening. I had recently changed my ISP and was having trouble connecting to the internet. Also my wireless had not worked properly since the change over. He promptly fixed those problems. He then upgraded my security (and saved me $75 a year on Norton which I have now canceled) and he cleaned up and moved files causing my computer to run much faster. He clearly explained what he was doing and gave instruction on how to better maintain my equipment. And to make it even better, his rate was very affordable. I am sure I will be a repeat customer.

I had viruses on my PC. I called MDofPC and scheduled a visit. The technician showed up promptly and worked efficiently to resolve the issue by successfully removing several viruses and installed an antivirus so the same problem would not occur again. All in all I'm very satisfied with the level of service and I would recommend this PC repair guy to someone with a similar issue.

Friday noon my computer crashed. I was in dire need of help. I found MDofPC on Google, made the call and talked to the technician. I took my crashed computer over to them the same day, freaked out. I was afraid I was going to lose all my data. The technician worked hard and was able to save all my data off the old computer. I don't know how to thank him enough. Absolutely superior service -- I'm grateful. He followed up with me once by email and twice on the phone to be sure everything was working fine and it was. I'm out of words.

I had MDofPC technician install a new computer and transferred all my data to the new one. Advised me on what external back up hard drive I should purchase, which was extremely helpful because, I would have purchased the wrong one, which is USB powered. Also, he was able to retrieve all my old emails, which was very important to me because I had family members' emails I still enjoyed reading. I can't say enough about how prompt he is and how fair he is with his time. I will never use anyone else and neither should MDofPC.
