The integrated malware scanning feature provides ongoing protection against malicious software. With automatic scans of downloaded files and daily database updates, it identifies potential threats across system volumes. The tool works in conjunction with Drive Genius to maintain system integrity while preserving user privacy during scanning operations.
Secure Erasure
Our secure erase functionality permanently removes sensitive data using industry-standard patterns. Available through both Data Rescue and Drive Genius, this feature ensures complete data removal from decommissioned drives through multiple overwrite methods. The tool complies with recognized data destruction standards while maintaining verification processes to ensure complete erasure.
Disk Imaging
The disk imaging feature creates complete drive copies for backup and recovery purposes. Supporting both healthy and failing drives, the cloning function preserves volume structures while enabling recovery from secondary drives. This capability proves particularly valuable when preparing for potential hardware failures or system migrations.

Paid $99. I used Data Rescue 4 twice and they discontinued the program. Refused to offer any type of deal or benefit. DR4, DR5 and DR6 all do the same thing. Dishonest marketing scheme.

I accidentally erased all of my emails by deleting my archived emails on my Mac. It wiped out everything in all my email boxes, sent, inbox, drafts, etc. I found Prosoft which advertised that it can recover deleted emails. After running the scan and being unable to see what the emails were or dates on them because you have to go through a transferring process, I paid the $89.00 to recover them. Once I went through the process of transferring them into a readable format, they were all emails from 2014 and 2015 that had already been deleted.

Not one of my current recently deleted emails was recovered. Waste of money, and they won't refund. They may be a valuable resource for other issues but not for recovering emails that have recently been deleted.

So my laptop crashed or whatever happens when you lose everything. All the kids pictures, my candid wedding photos and the glory videos from my last labor and delivery. I called a few different places near me but they were rude and I could barely understand their IT language. A friend of a friends cousins uncles moms niece works here so I called them up and at last, people that actually speak "computers for dummies".

I took my laptop in and they were cheaper than everywhere else and fast! I would definitely recommend them and although I hope I never have to see them in the future I would for sure go back. Customer service reps were friendly and helpful.
