Other Hours and Days by appointment. Over the years I have managed to turn my love of using, building and repairing computers as a hobby, into my full-time occupation. I began programming computers in Fortran in 1966, using mainframe computers and punch-cards. I was Webmaster for the state of Arkansas Department of Environmental Quality from 2000 until the end of 2003, when we moved to Charleston.

Our business computer crashed and Double Hammer came to the rescue. They had us fixed and out the door in a couple hours. Highly recommend for their knowledge, professionalism and great prices too. Thank you Double Hammer!

Very knowledgeable and very helpful. I'm so glad that we have a competent store like this in Charleston. They have helped me out a couple of times and were respectful and polite to boot! Thanks for your help :

These guys know what they are doing and are incredibly cool about it if you don't. I came in with an issue I couldn't figure out for the life of me as a person who has built his own PC and not only did they go out of their way to figure it out (one guy brought in his personal computer because it was more compatible with my parts needing testing) but they made sure to shop around when it came to parts and offered me several options with pros and cons so I could make the best choice for my needs and budget.

They were even pretty frank and open when they could offer me an easier solution but knew it wasn't the best deal. The only talking down I got, which can be prevalent in these kind of places for people who aren't super savvy, was my admittedly inappropriate password getting a light-hearted and friendly razzing. Double Hammer is my new go to, but with their quality of work, I doubt I'll be going back any time soon.

It's what it is. I'm unhappy because it's Charleston lol. They were not helpful to us. 30$ for nothing. Price of your pc? Idk but completely useless to us. then they reply to this review with a complete lie! You COULD NOT fix the hard drive is exactly what you said I could send it to someone else! You charged me 30$ to tell me what I already told you when I dropped it off. So your " diagnosis fee" is a complete ripoff. Fact. and I'll be in to pick it up soon. and take it elsewhere.

Great place with an old school charm in the middle of a town with new school hustle and bustle. They fixed my computer once and kept in communication with me about the process. Also, I've called looking to buy a computer from them and every time I did they were patient, courteous and always seemed grateful to me for thinking of their shop. Their prices are very reasonable too. Can't say enough good about them.

I took my daughters' computer to Double Hammer and it needed a new hard drive. It was fixed in a short time and has been working great since then. They explained everything and made it clear what the charges would be. NO surprises! I would recommend Double Hammer to anyone who needs computer repair. In fact I have another one I am going to take there in the near future.
