Hardware repair such as cracked screens, broken keyboards, power supply fails, and things of that nature. Training on an as-needed basis (and you're always welcome to ask what we're doing during repairs!).

At the time I wanted to use my aptitude for math and technology in a way that would allow me to work in a service business while raising my young son. I have enjoyed many years of challenging rapid technical change while trying to keep our focus on Service. Since About-Face Computer Solutions opened its store, I have been able to spend time as well on my Quickbooks / financial consulting business that developed as I worked with business customers and their technology.The need for help with Quickbooks and other business software interested me and I have been pursuing that as well over the years.

I've been doing computer stuff since I was a kid (and that was a long time ago!), sometime in the early 1970s. Yeah, that was before PCs, or Macs, or any of the rest of the cool stuff we've got today. I've worked in roles ranging from computer operations through systems programming and to the techy chores of troubleshooting and repairing computers and networks.

Hey everyone, I'm Dana. When you come to the shop, bear in mind that I'm a much better technician than a carpenter. I've been doing computer tech repair ever since. At this point, I've pretty much done it all-hardware, software, networking, and virus removal in both home and business settings. I consider myself a bit of a jack-of-all-trades technician; I see a challenge and I rise to it.
