I recently had a great experience getting my MacBook Pro battery replaced at Wires Computing! They quoted me significantly less than other repair shops, were responsive via the online portal (that tracks the repair status), and even replaced my trackpad at no extra cost because they found that the old battery had expanded and caused some damage to it. Waiving the trackpad cost was such a pleasant surprise and very much appreciated! The techs were friendly and professional too.

We took my son's ipad to have the charging port replaced and things didn't go well with the repair. It could have been a number of things that caused the repair to not work, but the technicians worked with us to figure out what was wrong and were able to come up with a solution that got my son his ipad back in working condition. Thank you for working with us. We appreciate it.

Great services, I was in town and had charging port issues and after a quick cleaning and a new charge cable I was able to resolve all my issues. They even gave me a faster output charger to ensure my phone would work better.

Overall horrible experience. Brought my phone in to get the screen fixed and to get a new screen protector, the next day had to bring it back because the pressure sensor problem persisting, they assured me everything was fine and installed properly. Day after that the whole face of my phone fell out and cracked again. Now it's finally fixed and installed properly.

Thank god they fixed their mistake, but then put the put the same cracked screen protector back on? So my brand new 50$ screen protector is cracked and already peeling off the corner they took it off from to fix their problem. Place is a wreck.

Speedy service they didn't have an extra oled screen but they order one it came the next day they fixed the same day. The customers service was excellent really friendly people. Would recommend

These folks are legit as heck. They replaced the battery in my macbook pro for a super reasonable rate. Other shops in town (name rhymes with tall bog) will charge half this price to even give you a quote. The owner here is super knowledgeable (and knows it) but I would prefer that over someone who is not communicative. Will be using their services again.

If every place was as fantastic as this shop, no one would need to write, or read, reviews! We were first time users of Wires recently, and I can't stress enough how great their service and communication is. We self-diagnosed one of our MacBooks, but had limited time to have it fully serviced when we first realized the problem. They confirmed our issue overnight, told us what we would need, and assured us that when our student was back in town they would see us immediately.

Sure enough, we went back to them when our student returned, and they took care of the MacBook issue overnight. Everyone in the shop is friendly & knowledgeable, and their pricing is more than reasonable. Even if they charged more I'd still go here because their service stands out in a sea of mediocrity elsewhere. I can't recommend them enough!

Unfortunately at the end of last year, I was having problems with both my phone and my laptop. I was happy to know that Wires Computing would be able to handle both issues. They were quick to diagnose what was wrong with both of them and ordered parts quickly. I was even able to keep my phone while they ordered the new battery by putting down a deposit.

Because shipping is so tricky right now, it did take awhile for the part for my laptop to arrive - so I really appreciate how quick they were to order the part and get it installed once they had it. And when the fan connection glitched and didn't reconnect properly, I brought it back and they fixed it quickly while I waited. My laptop is now working better than it has in a long time! I am very thankful for the work they did!

I had a phone screen replaced and the quality of the replacement was just unacceptable. It had less brightness and washed out colors than my original screen. When changing the brightness, the screen colors would change drastically from when the screen was dim compared to when it was at full brightness. I understand that when purchasing replacement screens from 3rd party manufacturers there are different tolerances than the parts the OEM selects.

When I brought this issue to the owner he told me he would check to see if the manufacturer reported any reported issues with the batch. A few days go by and the owner says there were no reports of issues. Regardless, they refused to acknowledge just how terrible the quality of the part they sold me was. They charged me $200, at retail, the replacement screen probably cost $105 at the time, but I imagine they have a relationship with an some distributor of phone parts that gets them a discount unavailable to the public. So at least $80ish for at most an hour of work? And then to not even offer to order a replacement when the part is terrible? That is poor customer service.

Had a problem with an initial order, when contacted they addressed the issue immediately even though it was over the Holiday weekend, going the extra step to verify operation of the unit that they sent out. Customer Service done right. Thank You

My phone (iPhone 6s) had been having issues charging for a week or two and has been on its last legs battery life wise for a long time. When I went in yesterday and described my problem, they knew exactly what to do, it was either a charging port problem or a battery problem but either way come back in twenty minutes. Less than twenty and they were done, changed the battery and I can only assume that the port is fine because my phone is having no issues anymore now that it has the new battery. They charged the same price as what it says on their website for a 6s battery. Super happy I came here.

I went to wires because other businesses were not accepting appointments, as busy as they were and wires does walk-ins. I dropped off my computer, received a ticket to track updates on the device, the communication was great! I received email updates when parts were ordered, when they arrived, and my device was fixed in no time and it's running great! The staff were professional, efficient and kind and repair costs were quite reasonable. This place seems like a hidden gem. I'll be back soon!

Everyone who works here is super sweet and friendly. I genuinely appreciated their patience and willingness to try to help my broken iphone. They replaced some parts they thought would fix it and I paid 65$. As soon as I got home, the phone was having the same problem (turning off and on, apps not working etc). I went back and they looked again and said theres nothing more they can do.

I do appreciate the work they put into checking my phone, however, I wish they had been able to diagnose the deeper issue they cant fix on the first visit. I also was refunded only 40$ of the 65$ I paid, which I wish was known or communicated more publicly (the refunding policy).

I brought my ps4 in for repair because he had been overheating, it took them a few days, but the console is working better than ever. They have good quality and are efficient. Would definitely recommend.

I have to say, as a business man myself, although retired, I was very very disappointed in this business today! 5-20-21, I road my motorcycle in extremely hot weather all the way from Richford Vt to Burlington Vt, because a while ago I paid for my screen on my iPhone to be replaced and that day they did not have the right colored home button, so the owner himself was helping me, he setup a virtual home button that floats on your screen to help you be able to use your phone while waiting to finish repair once the parts comes in, well with the pandemic and all the places unable to be open I didn't get back down there to have the job finished as soon as I had hoped for, although I already paid for it, the owner was a real dork and wouldn't even come out of the back room to talk to me, and it hadn't been that long really a month or two when I was there, and he helped me, charged me, took my money, I think the owner is young and immature and has no consideration for people, especially older people, he has no respect for the customer, this is not!

The way a genuine good business is ran. He barley deserves one star, I give him that because he does know what he's doing, he just has it all wrong. I do not recommend this place.!

Great service. Very clear on their services and pricing, all documented well on their website. They had to order my part, but had regular notifications on status. They were able to replace phone screen in under an hour once the part came in and I dropped phone off. They also were helpful to get me addition more detailed invoice to help deal with a warranty refund with SquareTrade.

These guys were great! My iPhone XR needed a new screen after it met the pavement. It wasn’t just the screen that was broken, there was an LCD bleed and all the good stuff. No appt. 45 min (at most) and my phone is as good as new! Thank you! I definitely recommend!

Great experience! I brought my nonfunctional iPad in, waited 45 minutes and paid $25 dollars! I left with my iPad working better than it has for quite awhile! I'm a very happy customer!

They weren't able to fix my phone. I dropped it off, he said he'd call back, didn't. I called. He said he was having trouble finding the part from a supplier, give him two weeks and he'd call. He didn't. I called, still couldn't fix it or find the part. I don't blame him for not being able to fix it, but when you tell someone you'll call (twice), please have the grace to call your customers.

Wires Computing sold me a slate one wheel pint after giving me a demo ride! I loved it so much, I also bought a fender, bumpers and other accessories. I was able to see a floor model before my purchase, had everything in stock and took home my ride same day!

When I phoned to make an appointment I was told the battery replacement in my iPhone X was going to be $50 and take 15 minutes. I brought in my phone, waited a very reasonable amount of time to have the battery replaced and then was presented with a $100 charge. The person checking out the payment asked if I had told the person I spoke with on the phone that it was iPhone X: I had.

Then he said the $50 was for an older phone and that the newer ones were $100 and there was nothing they could do. I paid the bill and noted to the individual that this didn't look good for their business. This review is to caution people to VERIFY THE PRICE before committing to having the work done. It could have been an innocent error on the phone conversation, but I wound up paying twice what I expected. I didn't look for an alternate shop to fix the phone because I thought the price was $50. So, beware and be careful!

Fixed my iPhone 7 screen in like no time. fast friendly and knowledgeable will defiantly be using them again in the future and they have good tech for good prices something you don't see everyday

Very neat and clean place and superb service. I brought in an iPad with a charging port issue just to get an opinion on what may be wrong. I was out of there in less than 5 minutes with a fully fixed iPad at a very reasonable price. I never expected it to be fIxed on the spot. They were so friendly and so helpful, I would highly recommend them to anyone.

I've brought my phone in to get a cracked screen repaired, a battery replaced, and when it wouldn't turn on due to a battery malfunction, they fixed it swiftly and at no charge! This place is great. I had gone to a different shop to fix a screen problem on my IPhone; unfortunately the problem wasn't with the screen itself and they didn't have the ability to do the necessary work on the motherboard. They kindly directed me to Wires as being the only place around that does. When I got to the shop, the problem was quickly diagnosed and fixed, and the problem areas were shown to me and explained, which I really appreciated.

The work itself was done in record time; even though they were busy, when I told them I don't live close by and wouldn't be able to get back for a couple days, they made time to fit me in. I asked them to check my battery also (my phone had been draining so quickly) and that turned out to be a dud too; they gave me a deal on both fixes. I love this place. After tearing my hair out for half an hour trying to solve a problem on my own they made a couple of quick suggestions when I called that fixed me right up. They also did an in-shop fix for me a while back that was expertly handled.

Came in with a cracked screen and a frowny face and left with a like new phone and a smile. The whole process took ten minutes. Because mine was an SE the repair was a little more so be sure to check prices online (which are accurate) There is a yelp check-in coupon so don't forget that as they did not bring it up in initial quote. There was a dog named Holly who accepted my scratches the entire time and then brought her stuffed animal from the other room to show me. I miss you Holly. I really liked your stuffed animal.

Track pad on my MacBook broke and every other repair shop in town was asking for an intake fee ($60-$99) just to "diagnose" the issue prior to the repair which would add an additional cost for parts and labor. I called this shop and told them the issue and they were able to put in a brand new track pad in front of me for $45 flat. Good, honest work.

I have had several trips to Wires Computing for issues with family phones. On each occurrence they have been very professional and provided quality work. I found their prices to be fair and was in and out much faster than I had expected. On one occurrence I came in with 2 phones and each had trouble getting a good connection when trying to charge them. The quickly fixed them both for free! From my experience, I would not hesitate to recommend them and use them again.

I made a mistake in looking at the times open and arrived when they were closed, but the door was open. When I entered, I was greeted with "We're closed, come back after 3:00. It clearly states that on the website." I felt he was very rude and did not have people skills. However, he did offer me to leave my iphone and come back later, but with those people skills, I decided not. I guess he doesn't want to do service with the general public treating me that way. Wow! I was shocked.

We came her for an iphone screen repair. Came because of the yelp deal, it was more than worth it. Service was friendly, instant (in and out in 15 minutes!) and efficient. would definitely use them again and will tell our friends about it! He fixes computers, too, but we didn't need that service this time.

These folks are amazing - incredibly knowledgeable and great costumer service. I brought in a 2012 Mac Book Pro which was limping along for quite some time and finally just about crashed. They recommended an upgraded hard drive - I now have a 1 terabyte hard drive and a Mac Book that runs better than when I first bought it. I was on the verge of dropping $1400 to replace what I thought was a dinosaur - instead I spent less than $400 and could not be happier. Special shout out to Alexandra - thanks for your expertise and very quick turn around time. This place rocks!

They did an amazing job. My phone 6s is in practically new condition and it just stopped charging. Trusted them and they micro soldered a new chip for the charger. Got it back within three days of me shipping it out. Very impressed with the work and the price. Highly recommend to anyone.
