Your repair service was excellent. Great communication, fast service, and quality work! Thanks to the Razer team as well, they did a great job arranging it. After experiencing your services I'm very glad I purchased the extended warranty with accidental damage protection. I hope I don't need service again, but if I do, I'm confident in knowing that I'm covered by Razer and that VT Services will be doing the work. Thanks for a job well done!

From reviews and my own personal experience, it is pretty clear that most people don't choose VT Services, but instead end up there through warranty claims, and it's no wonder that's the case. My laptop was in for the same repairs twice over ~2 months, with the repair cost totaling about 80% of the laptops cost. Pretty disappointing and frustrating to have had similar issues with the laptop twice after repairs (with a lengthy 2 weeks total of ground shipping both times). Mistakes happen, and new problems arise though, so I was not too upset here, but after the second repair the laptop came back with a new dent in it.

The packaging materials were all in good-to-great condition, making it difficult to believe that it might have occurred in shipping (and even if it did, the only thing that'd tell me is that the shipping materials used were inadequate). So, I contacted VT Services the next day to see what the options were for this. VT Services was quick to deny the possibly of the dent being their fault, and largely came across as trying to "strong-arm" me into accepting the dent, or otherwise going through a lengthy process of shipping insurance claims which still may not result in a repair.

I was also informed that the exit photos showed no signs of the dent. I requested to see these exit photos, and never received a response. And even with these photos, I still wouldn't know if the damage had occurred after photos being taken and before being packaged for shipping. In reference to the dent, VT Services also told me that they could not repair something that was not broken.

Can you imagine lending someone your car, only to have it returned with new scratches and dents and being told "well it's not broken, so I can't fix it"? Then I moved to contacting the warranty company about it. When the warranty company contacted VT Services, VT tried claiming that the original first repair had the dent present and they had wanted to repair it, but were denied by the warranty company.

Yet VT Service had also been confident they had photo evidence of this dent not existing when the laptop last left them. Overall, I am just left amazed by the entire repair process here. My laptop spent 4 weeks total in shipping and had repairs that came to around 80% of the laptops cost and left it with new dents. It's also amazing how many reviews share the same story here of long repair times and new damage, while VT Services hides behind the excuse of being a warranty repair middleman.

I was very happy when my laptop returned looking like new! My touch screen needed to be replaced and I couldn't tell the difference with the original (because it used a screen from the manufacture). Thank you VT Services! Also, a special shout out to Jodi who helped answer my questions and keep me in the loop!

I'm very happy with VT Services for fixing my laptop promptly at a good price. Not only did they fix my mother board, but solved a less critical problem I had been having as well. Since I live nearby I dropped it off and their hours are flexible enough that I could work it in my commute. They have an impressive computer lab set up with a professional staff of about a dozen.

I can recommend them highly. That being said, I have an issue and can rant about how HP made and has offered technical support for my computer. I don't plan on buying anything HP again as a result. However, I don't blame VT services for not being HP. Reading some dissatisfied reviews reminds me of where my teen sons and I get our haircuts. I admire the salon for how stylishly they transform my sons.

But no matter how hard I plead, they can at best pull my wisp of what was once bangs and say: I am only a beautician, not a magician. VT Services can only do what they can do: they are technicians, not magicians. Despite my choice to buy HP, I am pleased and grateful for VT Service's work.

My extended warranty company serviced my laptop through vt services and after 3 weeks of repair I just received my laptop. While it does work now, the technicians have scratched the metal shell, dented the palm rest, and forgot to replace some of the screws. Overall I'm extremely dissatisfied with their service as my laptop now looks in worse condition to when I sent it off for repair.

VT Services was the best part of my warranty coverage. They repaired my machine (first time ever I have seen that happen) and sent it back, when I started it up, it literally went to the page I was on when I mailed it. They recovered from a Monster Drink spill. I have had subsequent dealings with another issue on the laptop. Their communication and willingness to answer my many questions was spot on top professional. My sincerest thanks to this company/team.

Via Warrantech, my MSI laptop was sent out to VT Services for faulty fan bearings. I was very discouraged after reading the bad reviews and quite worried. But, after a very fast turnaround time I got the laptop back today. Zero issues and back to it's original condition. My laptop was returned in the same original box I sent it in, courteously cleaned, and put in a sealed bag as well. Thank you to the VT Services team!

VT Services was disappointing at best. I bought my laptop through newegg and it required repair. So my laptop was shipped to them. It took them three days just to check what the problem was (Keyboard problems, and a battery issue) Once they recieved approval, they forgot to order the parts, and it was only after over a week of no updates did I call and they tried to blame it on the Corona Virus (Honestly, it was almost laughable) But by the next day, they put the order in and strangely enough it would take normal shipping time of 3-5 days.

It has now been four weeks and now I'm waiting for it to be mailed back, because despite saying they would have it returned to me as quickly as possible, it's a 7 day delivery. So even if they make a mistake, they won't put out the extra 10 dollars for the expedited shipping that they should have. I still don't even know how it works and I almost dread it with the unprofessional level of this company. Maybe next time I will reconsider buying from Newegg. Best Buy's geek squad is so much better!

VT Services has the service contract for my laptop. My machine shut off in the middle of me using it and wouldn't reboot. I live on the East Coast. This all happened two weeks before I was to travel out west for a speaking engagement which was days before leaving the country on business for two months. The team was very responsive and communicative.

They did troubleshooting, diagnosed the problem, ordered the parts, got the repairs done, and got it back to me before my travels. I always like to use a product after repairs before reviewing it. It's been two months and my laptop has worked great just as it did before the motherboard went out. I appreciate the VT service team for their professionalism and living up to the warranty standard.

Repaired my MSI GE72VR 6RF Apache Pro gaming laptop that'd had a LOT of faulty keys that didn't accept any of my input and the turnaround time was great I had it back within a week from sending it out fantastic experience, don't know why this place has lower reviews, remember 100% of people post for complaints 10% post if the service was good. Cant say anything bad about VT they did a solid job and kept me updated throughout the while process. Also no shipping or packing damage was a bonus!

Very pleased with my recent laptop repair, I work on my laptop and was very disappointed by a hinge issue only after a year of use. They did a great job fixing it and communicated with me regularly during the process, which I appreciated. THANK YOU.

Does not communicate or work in a professional manner in my experience. Should not be used by large corporations. I wish this company better success in the feature, but you have to get organized. I can't see the extent of this issue but do your research about the materials and parts you're handling, for your health too, maybe take a workshop course and maybe a lab safety course for technicians in your field.

Always be open to learning, technology is ever changing, mistakes happen, we all think we know our field best, but we forget more than we realize. The company should pay for these services for the employees, but may not. Good luck to you all, and all the people you affect.

Their service was quick, but not very thorough. I purchased an extended warranty when I purchased my laptop. The services are now being provided through this company. I had two keys that were sticking. When it was returned, they stuck a little less, but as I continue to use it, they continue to stick. I'm not sure they did anything buy clean it. I was told they would replace the keyboard.

Not impressed with the services performed or the customer service. I would recommend not sending your computer to this company. They say they performed a service but don't document it on your packing slip with services done. They say they recycle the boxes sent to them, just so they can send you a new box with syraform popcorn, so you as the. customer can dispose of it.

It seems to me that returning the shipping box back to the customer would keep down the costs to your company, and you are still recycling. Instead of you having recycling costs and the customer as well. When a customer sends you a designated laptop shipping box, it seems logical to return it. They format your hard drive when that isn't the problem. USE another company.

I do not recommend VT Services Inc. My laptop was sent to them by my warranty company in the beginning of August for a repair. My laptop returned with the repair, but two other parts that were functioning before I shipped out my laptop, were no longer working. My laptop had to be sent back to VT Services so they could repair whatever they did not. fix, alter, or what have you.

Well I received my laptop a second time to discover structural damage. The outer casing is badly dented and cracked. A customer service rep informed me that it seems a technician failed to report this damage, and because of this the shipping claim may not hold up. VT Services, instead of fixing my laptop, has caused further damage to the unit at least twice, and has likely compromised the integrity and longevity of it. The sentiment I have gotten in regards to their errors can be summed up with a GIF of someone shrugging.

A Surface Pro 4 was dropped and the screen cracked in one corner. Also, some dents were visible on the exterior of the case in the same corner. VT replaced the screen and smoothed out the dents. Due to the damage incurred, the system had to be restored to its factory settings. I was able to reinstall the applications and recover files from a backup. The claim process was easy. Communication during the entire process was timely and informative. I was pleased with the service and repair. I would recommend this company.

Just got my MacBook Pro back from VT services and wanted to let people know how great of a job they did. To be honest, I was a bit nervous parting with my computer for 10 days, but the battery had died, and there was also a connectivity problem with the USB port--from dropping my laptop with a flash drive plugged in. It had damaged the keyboard/upper case. (ouch) VT servicesI kept me updated with notifications for every step in the process.

From the moment they sent me a label to mail my computer in, to their receiving it, to ordering parts, to mailing it back. It was actually above and beyond what other repair companies do. My computer is back, and it runs and looks like it's brand new! Everything is perfect and I'm thrilled. If I could give 10 stars, I would. It was a terrific experience with a repair shop and I sincerely appreciate it. I will absolutely be using their service again. Wish all companies were this efficient.

I recently purchased a new Mac Book Pro from Amazon and a corresponding SmartGuard extended warranty and accidental damage policy. When the computer started acting up, I contacted SmartGuard who sent me instructions for sending the unit to VT Services. Unfortunately the unit was irreparable and SmartGuard quickly reimbursed me. BUT, the thing to really take note of is the superior customer service I received from VT Services. They watched my computer from start to finish and kept me fully informed about their progress. The service was excellent.

These people are completely incompetent. I also had the AIG extended warranty, and found them to be unethical and just generally slimy. I had a motherboard issue, and they found a few water spots. AIG rightfully rejected the claim, and let VT know they should ship my laptop back as of 11/8/17. I called VT to see what their repair costs might be, and they quoted over $1k which was insane and definitely focused on replacing the whole motherboard vs. trying to fix the water damage which most others would attempt.

I asked them to send back and I'd go elsewhere. It's 11/16/17, and they still haven't sent my laptop. I hope no one goes here out of choice, and I pity those that need to use them for their warranties.

I really do not like giving poor ratings but I can't help but not. Acer laptop, powers off randomly. I am an IT tech and deal with this stuff all the time. anyway go through Newegg get a claim and have the laptop sent off. It comes back, I charge it up and like described it powers back off. GREAT I say. I send it back again, it returns, description says no problem found.

I rinse, repeat with same results. I video taped the problem and copied the log files and will be submitting along with laptop this time. Why do I have to do their work for them?! Newegg dropped them for a provider and I guess I know why. I am equally upset with Newegg for their handling of this also. I called them and they wiped their hands clean saying the warranty was not theirs so I had to deal with it. I am beyond furious at this point.

Look at all their recent reviews, since 2012 only 1 good review, says a lot about the services rendered. As some others, purchased laptop from Newegg, sent off for repair with VT services. Upon receiving my computer back the outer case had been scratched all over. They had replaced my computer top case with a white case, though my computer is black, so computer is now half black and white.

I was told that white was the only part available, but a simple online search shows lots of places that carry a black top case, so they won't be honest with you. They also didn't properly install my mousepad and it is loose and rattles in the casing(which wasn't even an issue before), as well as leaving a dent in my mousepad. How they managed to pull that off is beyond me. Upon contacting VT services they told me to contact Servicenet AIG.

Had my computer serviced by them. Came back not able to read hard drive. Sent it back to them and they told me nothing was wrong. Just got it back and still can not read the hard drive. They obviously do not know how to do work their and will highly recommend going ANYWHERE else.

Problems? A list. Starting with. I am not at the address where I purchased the computer. I included not one but four different copies of my currant address in my order. It was still shipped to the old address where I have not lived in 19 months. And there were two address labels. One of them was wrong as well. Had a street number that didn't. exist.

Delivery driver found the right house.sort of. So, I got the package a day later then expected. The worse part came when I powered the PC up. The problem I sent it to you in the first place is STILL THERE. It went to the login screen and shut down. Restart. Said it shut down due to over heating. The initial problem. So, the extended warranty is seemingly worthless. The over $20+ I paid to ship it to you. The extra time and gas spent tracking the package down. And the problem is still not fixed.

Very bad, lazy and unorganized. I had a claim open by AIG as a part of CDW extended warranty. I was supposed to receive an empty box with prepaid label to ship back my defective MAC Book. When I called VT Services, they said my claim number doesn't exist in their system and AIG has to dispatch it. When I called AIG, they put me on hold and called VT Services and then Oooops!" "Bingo. they found my claim number and they started the lengthy process.

At the end a whole was wasted waiting just for the label. Now need to wait for the item to be delivered to them, repaired and sent back to me. The longest RMA I've ever seen.

The extended warranty company (Servicenet AIG) that I use due to having purchased a laptop through Newegg uses this company as their default vendor for laptop repair services. In November of 2016, I shipped a laptop off to them due to it only charging to 89%. When I received it back after nearly a month of having it gone (so much for the 1 week turnaround time), the problem still persisted for about three months despite a new motherboard.

After contacting the warranty company again, they had me send off the laptop again. Enter 4 weeks later- I receive the laptop back. This time, they replaced CPU and GPU fan assemblies! Fan assemblies! Two parts which would not be related to a battery not charging properly. During this period, the company failed to contact me with regular status updates until I called them.

Even then, their customer service personnel were absolutely clueless. I have now been forced to send the computer back for a third time for the same issue. Additionally, they like to mention that they are not responsible if your data is erased but when asked about software, they say 'We don't do software here.'. Do tell me- what computer repair company worth their salt doesn't handle software issues in- house?

If it were up to me, I wouldn't recommend using this company as a vendor for complex computer repairs. Obviously, their technical abilities aren't up to par and you'll end up having to send your unit off multiple times to have the issue corrected.

I had VT services assigned to me to fix my washing machine under warranty with Home Depot. I took a half day off of work to anticipate their arrival. Usually have great luck with HD and their vendors, but NOT this place. I called VT to confirm the service visit while waiting at home. Some woman told me they cancelled my appointment. No notice! They rejected the service and sent it back to Home Depot for reprocessing.

But HD said then never got that message until the day of my supposed appointment. This place seems absolutely unaccountable. I would not trust them for future business. Terrible customer service and communication.

The awful extended warranty provider I use, New Leaf Services, forced me to use these people. They sent a beat-up, badly used return box. Groaty. I actually looked carefully inside for dead roaches or other detritus. Sent it in for repair three weeks ago. They told me once that the warranty service had approved the repair, that they had ordered the parts, etc.

They were lying. Two weeks later, they say the warranty company approved the claim two weeks later, they ordered the parts, etc. I am assuming this is another lie and that I will probably never see the phone again. Should I see any phone, I will check the MEID and have it checked for water and other damage. I would strongly urge you never to consider using New Leaf for extended warrantie or VT Tech services for repairs.

I find it difficult to believe they woudl lie about having received authorization - and then lie again two weeks later. I will be doing all I can to call attention to this company's mode of doing business which I believe crosses the line. Stay away from VT Tech Services!

I had the misfortune to have to rely on this company to repair my television because of my extended warranty by Hhgregg. I rearranged my entire week's schedule to be home when the technician arrives, I selected the earliest time window and THEY called me to confirm the appointment time and date TWICE! When the day of my appointment arrives and my time window closes I called the company and they tell me that they have my appointment set for the later time frame. Mistakes happen that is understandable, however when they say they do not know what happened or cant give me a reason as to why that changed without my knowledge, that what's upsetting.

Their customer service thinks that its okay to minimize their error. I will be reaching out the store so complain about this issue and hopefully they do not contract with them anymore.

I URGE nobody to make the mistake of using this service. I had the misfortune of having to deal with them through a warranty plan with newegg. My laptop speakers broke, and it took me 3 phone calls over the course of 5 days (I had to chase them around, they said they'd call me back and never did), just to get my claim filed. Then 3 weeks ago finally had them tell me they'd be sending a box to my home to store my laptop in and ship it over to them, approximate arrival time: 1 week.

Here I am, still waiting for that box to arrive, with nobody on the phone offering me an ounce of assistance or explanation other than "it should be there any day!" In summation, my warranty plan has been a complete waste, as I've made absolutely no progress in 3 weeks of persistence, and am just going to take it in somewhere and pay for the repairs. It blows my mind that I indirectly paid for something that has made absolutely no effort to fulfill what I paid for.

VT Services handled the repairs for my Acer laptop that I purchased on newegg with a warranty. The whole process was very smooth, fast, and professional. I received my laptop and am completely satisfied with the end result, and have to give special thanks to Michelle who handled my case. Her consistent updates and assistance made this experience a pleasurable one. Thank you VT!

Had this repair service work on my dell laptop. I received my laptop back missing back plate screws sent back to vtechsvc. when I received unit back for the second time message on screen stating HDD error check flex cable. I slid back cover off they had broken Flex Cable Connector and the flex cable was just sitting unconnected. sent it back. They sent it back to me and they fixed it by not getting the correct part they just shoved a piece of plastic and taped the flex cable down.

I used VT Services for an extended warranty I had purchased through NewEgg for my laptop. I have a Valkyrie CZ-17 that I love and adore, and I want it to live well into it's old age with me because I paid dearly for it! I just wanted to share what a great experience I had with them. They were very courteous when I contacted them via phone and they were very helpful and even though I didn't have all the information they needed, they were still able to process my repair.

They were great with communication, emailing me to update me when they had received my laptop and when they sent it out, and were available with prompt replies if I had questions. I got my laptop back and it's good as new and they even cleaned it for me! I'm so pleased with the experience that I had that I will definitely be using them again if in need! I definitely trust them with my beloved laptop!

This company SUCKS BIGTIME. I missed my appointment cause shitty technician failed to wait at least 15 min. which Krystal did promise he would wait. The tech could have at least called my husband to inform him that he left instead of wasting a trip. So I tried calling Krystal to reschedule and she would not at all resend another technician. I waited 2 hours for a call and no call from Krystal.

After missing the technician which the tech. knew my husband was on his way to meet him, my husband was only 1 block away. When I called back to reschedule my appointment Krystal mentioned that she would not even resend another technician and that she was having another outsourced company come out for my repair. Don't understand why I could not get a rescheduled date from the same company. Their services SUCK. Liza

The pin for my DC jack on my laptop broke. I took the laptop to VT Services to get repaired - and the repair was done in about two days. Great, I thought. I pick it up, plug it in, everything works great. After about 48 hours of use, not only does the DC Jack stop working (everything is intact, it just seemed to get loose), but my power adapter is overheating.

I take the laptop back to them, telling about the situation. They are understanding, and replace the jack for free, but I had to buy a new power supply. That's okay, I thought. About 24 hour later, its fixed. I get the laptop back. I test it in their office, and its working. The fit was a little snug on my new power supply, and the front desk lady told me I needed to be very careful with it.

So I leave the laptop plugged in on my desk to charge the battery. Less than 24 hours later, the pin breaks. At this point I'm really getting upset with it. I take the laptop to another specialist and he told me after looking inside my laptop that the people who worked on my laptop did a very poor job, using a non-standard jack and did a lot of damage to the motherboard.

He takes pictures, says the motherboard is in such bad shape that he won't attempt to fix it, and that I should tell VT Services that they F'd up badly. VT Services secretary tells me that I don't know how to use a laptop charger (LOL) and that I needed to be more careful with my electronics. I told her I just plugged the charger into the laptop and charged the battery.

The DC port got really hot, and then it just broke off. She said that it was impossible and that I was a liar I told the secretary that another expert said that VT Services did an extremely poor job of repairing the jack (with pictures), that a non-standard jack for the model was used, and this is what was causing the problems. I tell her that this needs to be fixed with the proper DC jack (they would have to order it).

She gets surprisingly compliant after I show her the pictures - its obvious that it was a piss poor job of trying to repair my laptop. It takes a month. A whole freaking month. I finally got the laptop back, with the proper dc jack on it, and guess what? It works perfectly. Holy shit. Imagine that. Completely inept people, horrible customer service, front desk lady is inept and pretty useless.

So, I have an extended warranty on my LCD television which had decided to poop out completely. Looking at the service centers honoring the warranty, I didn't know which one to pick, and was a little apprehensive about picking any of them since none were on Yelp. I went with the closest to me, VT Services. I call up, speak to a really nice woman named Sandy (I think) - she takes down the information relating to my problem and television, looks up the warranty, and tells me because of what I'm describing, they'll probably have to pick up the TV and bring it to their location for service. Literally, within hours, someone was at my house picking up the television - a really nice man I should add who came in with his tool-kit to look at the TV, decided he couldn't do the service on the spot, and carried the TV out to his van.

I hook up my bedroom television in my living-room and hunker down for the long haul. The next day, Sandy calls me back and tells me the service is complete, and asks if it would be okay if they drop off the television the next morning. I was completely astonished at the speed of the repair! The next morning, the same man who picked up the TV dropped it back off, and attached it back to the stand.

So far, the TV is working perfectly - all the problems I had before, including the problems I had leading up to the televisions eventual demise, are fixed. I couldn't be happier with their courtesy, their speed, and the quality of their work. So far, so good. If the TV poops out again soon, I'll update the review, but I came out of this experience really, really impressed.
