I have been a long-time customer of Virgil computers. They have worked on various laptops that I have owned throughout the years. They are definitely the best computer repair shop in the area, and conveniently located in the South Great Neck area of Virginia Beach. Sam is very professional, knowledgeable, and is a genius when it comes to computer repair.

I guarantee that they have the best prices in town, and the turnaround is always fast. I would like to mention that I bought a refurbished Lenovo Think Pad from Virgil, and had the memory upgraded. I now have a top-of-the-line business computer and I only paid 335 dollars. Periodically I will stop in to check out the computers they have for sale, and talk about different computer and tech topics. It is a very professional friendly environment.

I went into their shop just looking for an extra screw - I didn't expect them to have what I was looking for, but they did! Super friendly staff, would definitely recommend their services!

I only have great things to say about my experience with Virgil's Computer Repair. I visited them with my wife's 15 2014 Macbook Pro that did not turn on since accidentally a cup of coffee was poured on its keyboards 3 years ago. She replaced the computer back then but we kept the dysfunctional machine. This year I decided to give it a shot and get it repaired for a trip to Europe.

I called 3-4 different places in Virginia Beach but nobody picked up the phone in person, the calls always went to voicemails. Virgil's Computer Repair in the other hand picked up the phone right away and gave me a very very friendly quote for the repair. They replaced my keyboard and also added some rubber anti-scratch feet to its bottom. The laptop runs immaculately, I can use this as a second device for years to come.

I also had an exceptional in-person experience with them too, I had a great chat with them about my past Macbook experiences and upcoming future releases. I highly recommend the store, absolute 5 stars!

Have used Virgil Computers in the past for several small issues but most recent experience responsively solved my problem. Having had my laptop diagnosed with burned out hard drive, I was immediately attracted to one of their rebuilt laptops--a Lenovo vs buying/ ordering a new computer. Overnight, he transferred all my data to new machine, enabling me to participate in scheduled Zoom session.

My computer crashed with all my files and info, and I needed a quick access & repair. Virgil Computers sat me up with a super smart tech person, and I was good the next day. very cool! Highly Recommended.

Giving to this shop 3 stars because i was told that they will not do any repair before contacting me since i dropped off my pc only for diagnostic and paid in advance for it. They never called me or emailed me so i decided to give them a call to find out that they actually did some small cable adjustments on my pc but didn't fix the main issue i went there for and then charged me 99$ for labor on top of the diagnostic which was 38$.

Excellent service! Highly recommend! I turned in my Laptop to Virgils because it wasn't powering on and charging. He was very knowledgeable and he figured out the problem in a few days! He made sure my M.2 drive was running windows instead of my SSD, he also downloaded all my graphic drivers. I'm very happy with my service and will for sure go back if any problems arise again!

I have been using Vrgil PC repair for some time. SAM is very knowledge and professional. All. Y repairs to both desktop and laptop computers. Have always been fixed to mr satisfaction with in a matter of a few days. I would recommend Virgil PC to everyone.

After comparing several local shops' reviews and word of mouth recommendations, I reached out to Virgil Computers. They were reasonably priced and delivered fast, thorough service. What I really appreciated was their crystal clear breakdown of the necessary services based on my machine's specs -- not just a blanket "you need to upgrade xyz" up sell.

They made me feel comfortable and didn't try to use terms that would go over my head to pressure a sale. Because of that, they'll be my first stop for future purchases, upgrades, and repairs. It's now six months later and my machine is still running like a dream. I wholeheartedly recommend them!

Saved the day after our first computer build didn't go as planned. They were on point with their turn around time, price was more than fair for the work they did and they went above and beyond to ensure things were functioning properly before sending it home. Even installed driver updates and RGB controls we didn't expect them to. Showed us computer functioning at pick up and did a very professional job with cable management. We will definitely be back for any repair needs in the future!

Haven't used Virgil since 2010. They are still the best. Computer just quit working. Took my PC to Virgil, they diagnosed issued, replaced parts and got computer back in one day. They are the most honest and reliable computer company in Virginia Beach. Very happy again! Daphne

A small, three-man shop located in the London Bridge Shopping Center, Virgil Computers has been a neighborhood fixture offering all types of laptop, desktop and off-site network computer help for over 15 years. I think Sam and Tom probably began their careers working with Apple, and still maybe prefer them, but I've had several occasions to use them for help on various Windows-based computers over the years, and I've never been disappointed with the quality of their work, the timeliness of completion, or their very reasonable prices. Recently, they began selling refurbished laptops and desktops in the shop, at price points which would fit nicely into a student's or beginner's budget. Highly recommended for the quality of their work, their business integrity, and their just plain pleasantness.
