Serviceware Serviceware is one of the oldest factory authorized Computer Repair Companies in the San Francisco Bay Area. We provide warranty and out of warranty Hardware Repair for all Apple products and Lenovo Think branded products. Since 1981, Serviceware has catered to startups, small to medium size businesses, government, education institutions and many Fortune 500 companies.

Services
Founded in 1981 in a San Jose garage by two computer techs, Serviceware got its start repairing all kinds of electronics, but the story does not start there. In 1972, Carlos Carvacho immigrated from Chile to the United States in the pursuit of an education in TV repair at Heald Engineering College.
Serviceware provides warranty and non-warranty service on all Apple products and Lenovo Think branded computers. We offer onsite, depot, walk-in, pick up and delivery service. We provide factory authorized warranty repairs for Apple products and Lenovo business class desktops and laptops. We offer "Free" pick up and delivery (in the Bay Area) for all "Depot Warranty" repairs. If your company has enough warranty repairs on a weekly basis, we can put a technician onsite at no cost to you.
To get a piece of equipment repaired, please fill out the information below. It will automatically be sent to our Customer Service representative and an internal work order number will be assigned. Customer Service will e-mail you our Work Order number and we will be out the next business day for the service. We look forward to receiving your questions and comments and will reply to your email promptly.

Echoing what others have said, this place is AMAZING! My MacBook Pro needed replacement speakers and a new battery, and with Serviceware the repair was a breeze! I did need to wait about a week for the Apple parts to arrive (supply chain issues, you know. ), but once the parts were in hand the service was scheduled for the next day and completed in less than an hour.

I was relieved not to have my laptop shipped out (as the Apple Store would have done) and am back to work with hardly skipping a beat! Run--don't walk--to Serviceware if you ever need help with your computer. You won't regret it!

I was visiting from out of town was referred to Serviceware where I received the most amazing help. Within a short space of time they were able to help me with my iPhone, and my iPad - and taking the time to assist me with lots of adjustments on my devices. I was very grateful to the people at Serviceware for their time, expertise and patience, and as I mentioned, the over the top amazing service assisting me and taking the time to explain so many invaluable details that I did not know about my devices. What a find! You should know about this place for repair and troubleshooting for all of your devices.

I thought I had already posted a review of this place, but when I went to find them again today I realized I hadn't. In summary: they are fantastic. First of all, both the receptionist and the two technicians I met treated me like a human being. I loved the way they spoke to me, the advice they gave, and how quickly they handled my repair. I also loved the location (slightly out of the way, but easily accessed right from the lot--maybe ten feet away from where you park).

There were no crowds. They contract through Apple but they feel more like a Mom-and-Pop (or Brother-and-Sister?) operation. They are superior to the mall in every way. Serviceware for the win!

WOW! The team at Serviceware is phenomenal. Brought in a bunch of iMacs and they fixed them all VERY VERY VERY quickly. Extremely professional company and well run and managed. They are way better than the Apple Store and treat all their customers like Kings. I have never been treated so well in my life. They get the job done FAST and their technicians are all Apple Certified and trained. A++++++++ Thank you Serviceware, please keep up the great work!

I went on the Apple website to scheduled an appointment, but they didn't have any until next week. I was directed to this business and schedule an appointment the next day. My phone was not working and I spent hours trying to fix it. This place took less than 5 minutes. Extremely helpful and friendly highly recommend.

Absolutely amazing! I had a power issue with my MacBook that Apple Customer Care through chat were not able to diagnose. They referred me to 3 or 4 different service locations. I am really glad I selected Serviceware! I walked in and they were polite and eager to help. They looked at my issue, started to diagnose and had it resolved in 15 minutes.

From there they did some additional health checks of my system and I was complete. They explained that they are a small business and take a lot of pride in their work and business. You can definitely tell. I will not be going anywhere else with any of my Apple issues.

I rarely write reviews, but my experience w/ Justin and Jen needs to be heard. I originally went to see them for an issue w/ my iPhone. Within a few minutes, it was fixed. I mentioned an ongoing issue I'd been having w/ my 2 yr. old iMac - in my mind a 'lemon'. I had spent hours/days w/ Apple tech support. to no avail. Justin asked me to send in the serial # of my device.

He thought he knew what the issue might be. Sure enough, after years of total frustration it now runs so fast I can hardly keep up! I am thrilled and highly recommend Serviceware. Thank you! Lori B.

Serviceware provide a professional, speedy and thorough computer repair service. I booked a Mac laptop repair appointment and it was faster and easier than booking directly with Apple in the Mall. The team was quick to find several possible issues and they delivered many options starting with the free fixes, then moving on to the more difficult possibilities. Sadly my computer need the more costly fix, but they literally tried everything before that last resort. They provided an honest and communicative service that was much more personable than Apple for sure. Highly recommend.

I needed to fix a few faulty keys in my 2013 macbook pro. Took an appointment with them from apple service website. They checked it out and quickly told me it is better to replace the whole keyboard. They also said they could replace both my keyboard and the battery for a battery only price as the battery was quite unhealthy (2013). They said they will get the parts in two days and fix the laptop in a an hour. Thats exactly how it happened. Very happy with their service and responsiveness.

I'm really happy I found Serviceware. I appreciate that they tried multiple times to fix my phone before giving up. I'm super thankful because some vendors would stop trying after the initial time. This saved me from needing a new iPhone or going a super expensive repair route. Bonus Point: They are also incredibly nice :

My laptop battery's been bad for years, came here, they offered to repair it and replace the whole bottom case (w/ new keyboard and everything) for an insanely reasonable price. They said it would take 4-5 days, it took 2 business days. What else can I say?

5 stars for the service done for my iMac! My iMac was experiencing shut down issues that needed hardware servicing, but I am a tiny person unable to carry this machine to any repair store. So, Apple Support set up an onsite service to be done by Serviceware. I was very impressed by the technician, Justin, assigned to fix my iMac. He was friendly, punctual, knowledgeable, and communicative of every step of the process.

He was also very respectful of my property when he came on-site. I'd recommend Serviceware to anyone in the Bay Area for any technical issues. Thanks again to Justin and team for the on-site support!

Found a random small crack in my display. Came here to get it fixed and was not disappointed! They looked at my laptop, were very transparent with timing and process, and kept me updated on how things were tracking (the part they needed took a few additional days to arrive). In terms of pick up, they were very flexible and held onto my laptop for a few extra days after the work was complete as it was hard for me to sneak away during their business hours. Overall, very happy with my experience and everyone is so friendly! Definitely have found my computer repair place! Side note, they are open till 4 pm! (Not 3 pm as it says in Info)

So my MacBook Pro's screen just went out on me, how it happened was a long story that I wish to not relive (my kids pulled the chord and it dropped.) Anyway, I needed a new screen and not only are they Apple Authorized, they were friendly, able to get me a quote and an appointment amid the pandemic and chaos of busyness of people I guess dropping and breaking their MacBook too and my computer was ready within about a week of dropping off. Simple transaction and I was very pleased to have my life line back. Definitely worth the drive to Pleasanton for me.

Wow! Such great service! The 3 who work there are kind, comprehensive, and provided fantastic service. I rely on my laptop, as a student, and they fixed it in a timely fashion. Making an appointment was easy as well as getting an estimate. Will be going back if I need any further help and definitely recommend.

My display broke randomly so I brought my Macbook Pro in for service. The team was very knowledgeable, responsive, and timely! I was so shocked at how quick the turn around was. For sure recommend this company especially being certified by apple for repairs and COVID has limited the number of people in the Apple store for fixes.

Big shoutout to ServiceWare in Pleasanton who fixed my computer in record time, actually faster than the minimum time they thought it would take. Apple was booked solid for several days, and person on phone recommended Serviceware. Now my MacBook Pro is "better than new" after the motherboard replacement and the recall repair for keyboard, trackpad, and battery. Great job! And their staff Justin, Travis, and Jenn kept me informed the whole process.

Recently dropped off my New MacBook Pro as the screen was damaged. Jenn was great at answering all my questions and letting me know about what the outcome would be. Travis had my laptop fixed in no time and they even stayed opened late for me to be able to pick up my laptop! That to me was what did it, great customer service. I would definitely entrust my laptop to then in the future.

If you look in the dictionary for the definition of customer service there you will (or should!) find Serviceware. I can not say enough good things about Justin, Jen and the team in Pleasanton. I had an issue with my MacBook Pro, whereas it would not boot up properly and was just generally being uncooperative. I was in danger of loosing a ton of important data.

I entered their shop, was greeted by Justin who actually took my computer and immediately began troubleshooting. He listened to my description of the problem I was having without a single hint of condescension. After diagnostics returned no obvious problems, he took another avenue, then another, until he hit on a resolution. All of this while I waited there! You just don't find businesses that will do that, especially repair businesses! If there were a 6th they would get one from me. Highly recommended! Thank you Justin!
