Royal Computer Center - Gaithersburg, MD

I am glad that I found this place online. I did a few searches online and a few places came up. I read others reviews and decided to give them a try. The store size and selection is decent, they have a wide selection of computer parts and other things. As for the service, nothing beats a family own business. My laptop was not charging and the problem was because of a bad DC Jack. The place where you plug the power cord into. I guess it became loose from unplugging and plugging it in so many times. Parts had to be ordered specially because of my laptop model. It has been 3 months now and it still works great! A+ they did a great job on repairing and it was quick. I previously brought my laptop to geeksquad, circuit city and another small store. They quoted me $300+ for the job and circuit city and geeksquad wanted me to replaced the whole motherboard! What a waste of money for diagnostic. In the end I paid about $120 for diagnostic, parts, labor and cleaning. To me that was a DEAL! I would recommend this company to everyone and now I am a customer for life. I will be posting this review in here, yahoo and google.
