I brought in my broken thumb drive for data recovery on a Tuesday on Thanksgiving week. Eman said there was no reassurance if they can even do the job since my thumb drive was broken in that part where you stick it in the port on the computer. I was quoted $75 and that was how much I had to pay also.

My Dell XPS laptop hard drive was bricked because of BitLocker (well, I couldn't find the BL passkey). Was fearing that I would need a new SSD hard drive. Took it down to Eman @ PCTECH on Van Nuys Blvd. Eman communicated very clearly and quite clinically about the prognosis: 80% chance it's THIS, 20% chance it's THAT. I very much appreciated him telling me my options first off-no surprises.
I knew that he could do his best to decrypt the drive and save me $$$. Two hours later I picked up the laptop. He was able to decrypt the drive and a new SSD was not needed. You can really tell that Eman loves his work. He took pictures of the innards of my laptop (battery, fan, motherboard). Eman showed me that my laptop battery is swelling and needs to be replaced before the motherboard is impacted.
On the laptop, he placed 3 different webpages for me to order a replacement battery. WOW! I didn't have to look up the battery number to get the proper version. Also, he knew I could change it myself and didn't try to upsell me. Straight up gentleman, Eman is! I don't wish any more computer issues, but if I do, I know Eman is my #1 guy. You can trust him and his prices are more than fair (as I have repaired my own computers in the past). No need to look any further for PC repair. PCTech is #1.

Eman is a great guy and I highly recommend him to anyone who wants to get their pc or laptop repaired. Even though my new replacement motherboard came in defective, he immediately was able to find a different, even better motherboard for a great price. He even upgraded my RAM from DDR3 to DDR4 for free.

Went to some other tech guy and he was terrible and didn't help at all in the slightest. Luckily I found these people who fixed my gaming PC in only 5 hours when there was so many things wrong with it. So many. It's like brand new now and I'm so relieved and grateful : they did not disappoint. Worth it

Best PC repair technician in Van Nuys, with load of knowledge and great customer service. This is my 3rd time at PC Tech, and surly there will be a fourth and fifth. They are always very patients by taking the time to understand the problem in order to offer the best possible resolution. I blew a hard drive and PC Tech was quick to solve the problem by installing a new hard drive, and they did it with in 4 hours, just in time so I can get back to work.
Might I mention they are extremely reasonable with their prices. I highly recommend giving PC Tech a try and see for yourself why people say what they say. Thank you for you outstanding service.

WHHHHHHHHHHHHYYYY!? DID I WAIT SO LONG? After being disappointed in my Computer technician I reached out to PCTech after driving by their office for 10 years! I know better but have been too busy. I have been so frustrated. Not anymore - PCTECH - So nice, so thorough, so helpful in explaining what I need to know and so reasonable in pricing and parameters for checking out my computer.
I am so happy to have "found" them and will use them again and again. I am SO HAPPY TO BE WORKING ON MY COMPUTER NOW WITHOUT 5 MINUTES BETWEEN KEY STROKES (Okay that's an exaggeration but you get the point) HIGHLY recommend.

We had a water leak in our home and it destroyed our PC, Eman and his partners helped us with everything and even explained any questions we had with certain functions of parts. They are very helpful and works very fast. They helped us build our new PC with new parts we bought and our new PC is amazing!
