Be cautious of this quy unless you know his FULL offering up front. He sounded great over the phone, but failed to disclose a minimum fee for a house call (in my case it was $140). Also the work he recommended during the house call seemed "overkill" (take the computer to his shop, complete hard drive scrub, etc) for what I felt was a minor virus. I reluctantly paid the $140 even though no work (other than a complete 20-30 minute review of the problem) was performed.
Later the same day I took my computer to Computer Warriors. For a $25 fee and a 10 minute wait, they completely fixed my problem. Should have started there first. My mistake was not understanding his total fee structure BEFORE agreeing to a house call. He could have avoided a negative rating by disclosing the fee UP FRONT. where we would have parted ways. Lesson learned.

My PC was spontaneously hit by a voltage spike. I reached out to Cam mid-morning and he was able to meet with me that same day! I requested data recovery and potential laptop repair if possible. He worked through a holiday week to retrieve my data and as a bonus was able to repair my laptop too. He updated me on the status of the repair along the way; he explained each step of the process so that I could understand.
He was honest about potential outcomes from the beginning. Still, he takes an empathetic approach to conversation with the customer and makes the customer feel as though they are the student opposed to just another ticket number.

PC Medics on Call and the owner Campbell were great. I thought my computer was done for, but Cam was able to get me up and running in no time. He explained everything to me, step by step, and was patient as I asked a lot of questions. My laptop is running better than ever, and I did not have to spend so much money on a new one. Fantastic experience. Cam is a master of his craft. A true "doctor" of computers. Apparently, going to Geek Squad at Best Buy last year for computer repair issues was what landed my computer in trouble in the first place and he was able to diagnose and remedy the issue in no time. Will recommend him to everyone I know and he can have a beer with me anytime!

Excellent service does not even begin to describe the level of personalized concierge service that I received from Cam at PC Medics On Call! My laptops hard drive crashed on me and I didn't have the time to wait 6-10 days that most of the computer repair shops in town said it would take to get my computer back. After reading the reviews that PC Medics On Call had I called and spoke with Cam and he stated he provided a same day concierge computer service and that he could have me up and running by morning and that he could fit me in after he left his clients.
Sure enough, Cam met with me in about 40min and picked up my laptop and the deposit that he required and said that I would be all set in the morning and ready to rock and roll. Not only did Cam have my failed hard drive replaced and Windows 7 re-installed but, he even took the time to clean my laptop and I was absolutely amazed at how bright and shiny my laptop was when he returned my computer and how fast it was running and just as he said, it would be spinning like a top and running better than new!

Cam came to my home today to fix my sick computer. He advised reinstalling Windows 10 because it was corrupted. I now have a clean computer, . It is much faster now. He also installed malware and anti virus software. He reinstalled my Zoom text (I have low vision) and Dragon software for dictation. He did all of this at my home and gave me numerous tips for more efficient use of my computer.
He is pleasant to work with. and did much to make my use of my computer more effective. I would not hesitate to call on him again and I would recommend him to you if you require quality service.

Last week my external backup drive with all my pictures throughout the last 15 year failed. Ugh. I'm pretty tech savy and tried everything I knew how to do, but nothing. Feeling pretty skeptical about what anyone else could do, I searched online for hard drive recovery services and found PC Medics. I picked them because of all the positive reviews and they were here in Wilmington. Campbell stopped by and picked up my hard drive and talked through the process how what he would do.
He kept in contact with me throughout the whole process and he was actually able to recover everything! Thank you Campbell! I'd definitely use them again and would recommend them. He really goes the extra mile!

My computer was hacked and frozen after normal working hours. I contacted PC Medics because he was recommended for on call. He came out immediately and began to unfreeze the computer. He evaluated there were viruses and took the laptop to his shop. The next afternoon he brought it back -- he had cleaned the viruses, put all the programs in working order, installed new Malware, antivirus software and fixed the wireless. I can definitely recommend Campbell because he is thorough and careful to explain why you need things and gave me the protection I need.

Too expensive for what you get: $75 per hour plus it took him almost 4 hours to remove 7 virus programs and add an antivirus program. Total $218 with 30% off for seniors and only a 30 day guarantee. I would have hate to have seen the bill without the senior discount! The computer is basically the same as it was before the "repair". The man from Community Computer Repair did not inform me of the charges before he did anything so there was no chance to decline the services.
The anti-virus program that was used cost $24 online which I could have done myself. I could have almost bought a new hard drive for what I paid this outfit. Better find another computer repair business.
