Unfortunately having a listing with the BBB Is not all that seems to be it's just a waste of money nobody cares For the accreditation, customers think its just another way to make more money from them and they say that anybody can buy an accreditation, the BBB accreditation should be free in my opinion that is given to reputable businesses just like Google reviews, the BBB should be a nonprofit organization for it to be effective where customers can consider it. don't waste your money Spend it on more valuable things.

Update: 11/8/2021 After further investigation by the Better Business Bureau they saw that a negative review that gotput on by a past employee portraying themselves as a customer with negative comments was removed. I wish services have been a little more professional in the very beginning, but I'm pleased that these false negative reviews were removed.

I wish I could give them a NEGITIVE 5 STARS! This organization used to be a pillar in the community for a place that you could go to review the truth about business and how it's conducted themselves amongst other businesses. However, it has become an "old boys club" that only if you spend money with them will they get you a good review and work with you on people who have left your company a bad review. To repeat, now all they are is a place where you can have your reputation hurt by fake reviews and when you ask them to investigate it and they just want money.

The BBB is a total sham job. they tell business to get their customers to write reviews on their site, if they dont like the business, they take any positive reviews down. these folks in the SLC office are dishonest, they violate the Federal review fairness act. if you read the reviews here on google. you will notice that many of the 5 star rated reviews are for other businesses, and not for the BBB total fraudsters for taking money from business and giving good ratings

Seriously. I would expect more from a local business (like the BBB who only wants to revive a dying brand) If you want to be of service to the community, consider not trying to be another Google. Act as an intermediate between other local business' in your community (like mine) and customers in the community. A non-customer of my firm posted an obviously slanderous stream of vitriol, much of which is slanderous and potentially liable. Apparently there was no vetting process, and you don't even need to be a customer of the said business you complain about to complain. Bad Business.

BBB is just a business, they want you to pay to be on their site. They pressure you to join, they called my business over and over trying to make me join after telling them no. I can get all I need off online review sites like google. they do not have power or authority to correct problems you have with other businesses other than to harass a company about someone's complaint.

Don't waste money paying BBB to put your company on their site so others can complain about you, people are more likely to complain than leave a good review in general on any site. You can get your company reviewed free on google and other sites.

Jiffy Lube Eagle Mountain Utah broke a spark plug wire while replacing all spark plugs and didn't tell us until we had to bring it back because it was running rough. Apparently they didn't do it right the 2nd time either it shorted the other wires. We were moving from Utah to California towing a 5th wheel and wanted the tune up done before we left.

I had to hire a tow company to tow the 5th wheel back to California and then when I got to California had to take the truck to a mechanic to fix what Jiffy Lube messed up. Brian from Jiffy Lube apologized a 100 times saying they should have recommend all new wires in the beginning and told me to send him the mechanic bill of 198.00 to him and he would submit paperwork to office for a refund. Three weeks later no refund. Today I called and he said it was denied. Thanks Brian! Bad business and bad experience.

I was a paying member since 1998 after 15 years the program the rates to be a member kept going up the value going down! Some of my competitors had an F- rating but guess what as soon as they paid the $400+++ they had a A+ rating overnight HMM. I saw the scam writing on the wall so I quit paying they were not happy and contacted me on many occasions to be a accredited member I said no I have a A+ and happy with that. guess what the now gave me a F rating due to a logo issue on my website I took it off as soon as I could figure out how. the BBB is a freaking scam irrelevant and will be out of business one day soon I hope. if your a business owner don't waste your hard earned money or trust this private company

I prepaid for a year of software service but it immediately became obvious that the service was not going to meet the needs we had outlined. After only a couple of weeks I contacted the vendor to cancel the service but they refused any portion of refund, even though our use of the service to that point could not have cost much. After several more attempts over a period of weeks I finally turned to the local Better Business Bureau for help.

Within just a few days we received a refund check for the exact amount I had been previously seeking. It is disappointing that some businesses are not more responsive to their customers needs, but nice to know that the Better Business Bureau can be so effective at helping to achieve reasonable results.
