Everybody was very helpful and they got my problem solved. I have used their services twice over a 4 year period and both times I was very satisfied with them. Will not hesitate to use them again.

Brought my desktop in because it had been running slow and I suspected the hard drive was about to go out the window. Chris was able to get it in almost immediately, diagnose the issue (surprise, it was the hard drive), and look into other issues I was having with it. Needless to say, with how professional he was with everything and the way more inexpensive price I was charged compared to what I was expecting, I would definitely bring any system I'm having issues with to them again!

I am an old lady from Deadwood whose daughter's name is on this post. These people are the best. So patient with a technical dummy such as myself who needs her computer repaired right away. They have negotiated with Apple for me and walked me through ordering accessories for which they received no money. That is great customer service.

Highly recommend this business. Had issues with debugging PC & transferring data to MAC. Tech is proficient in both platforms, perfect results, positive & patient communication and very reasonable pricing.

Had a friend take her laptop in that had a black screen when powering on. From what she was told it would be anywhere from 150$+ to fix, and was also told the motherboard was broken. A reboot through BIOS recovery fixed the problem within 30 minutes. Although I'm sure your services are great, I don't agree with charging $150+ for an easy 30 minute fix.

I was doing a full rebuild of my gaming desktop. I needed a cable for A ssd. I came here and they gave me the cable I needed for free. Suffice to say they saved my build and made my week. So thanks be onto this business.

So technology means a lot these days. From our phones, laptops, and everything beyond. I have used NHT staff to help with my laptop on several occasions. This particular instance was my external hard drive. I use it for backup but also for tons of data and files. I was using it just like I normally do and it decided to CRASH - said NO FILES ON THE DRIVE!

Though I didn't really need everything on the drive, I desperately wanted the pictures of my dad from the last few years because he passed away in August. I panicked a bit and called Jason and Brian. I took my hard drive over and though they didn't guarantee they could get my files back, I knew Brian would do his best to help me out. Throughout the process, Brian kept in communication with me about the process and how long it was taking.

At the end of the time my hard drive spent with them, Brian recovered most, if not all, of my data and files! I am very thankful the team at Northern Hills Technology is there to help me protect my valuables through technology. I would highly recommend them for any technology needs in the Black Hills and beyond!

Thanks a million to Brian Snow at Northern Hills for getting my PC fixed. The guy really knows his stuff. I initially took my non-functioning PC to Best Buy in Rapid to have the Geek Squad look at it, diagnose the problem, and, if my PC was shot, then buy a new one there. Which I didn't want to do because of cost and time lost. The Geek Squad told me my motherboard was bad and the cost to replace it would be the same as a new computer.

I got a 2nd opinion from Brian (Northern Hills also sells PCs), who told me the motherboard was fine -- it only had a bad battery and my power supply was failing. He fixed those things and also solved other vexing problems I had due to my previous very complicated set-up. Now I'm up and running for the next 4-5 years, at a fraction of the cost of a new computer. Moral of the story: If you have a real problem with your PC, skip the Geek Squad and go to Northern Hills first.

Northern Hills Technology has fixed three of my computers and also given my friends and family excellent advice about their computer issues. They have been the best dollars I have spent on support. They are very inexpensive. I would recommend them to anyone needing their computer fixed, de-bugged, tuned or otherwise repaired.
