Well; as many of you have all probably heard. its terrible. I don't like how they prefer to do business with older people that have little knowledge of the Internet, they scam them by charging a monthly fee for an e-mail account. I mean come on; that's is so low of them taking advantage of the elderly because of their ignorance in technology.

They are running off of old equipment that they lease out. They set static IP address so you can not reset your router. They have to so called "program it" and charge like $40.00, for something a kid could do over the phone. All they do is enter a few numbers and possible enter log-in information on a "User Interface"; on YOUR router, that they MAKE you lease. Waste of time, waste of money and shame on this company.

Where to begin? You can get 10x speed for half the cost downstate. The actual speed is nowhere near the actual speed. They are using 'equipment lease fees' for equipment that has been paid off for years. The owner admitted to me the other day that this fee was being used to pay for their expansion. The customer service is atrocious. Not 'bad'.

Not 'horrible'. But 'atrocious'. We were warned by business people before we ever moved to Gladwin that Ejourney were a bunch of jerks. And it was worse than that. It took 7 calls and 3 visits to the office to even get them to hook me up to their snail-paced service. During one service outage, I stopped by the office to find out the eta of the repairs, so I could plan my day (I have an internet business).

A guy in the lobby told me that I could 'go climb the damned tower myself and fix it' if I was in such a hurry. Turns out, this was Jason, the owner. The lady at the front desk is a lazy jerk. (That's the nicest way to put it.) I've been told at least 6 times that someone would call me back about a service issue I was having, but they never once called. It's the worst run utility I've ever encountered. If you have ANY other option, use it.
