I brought my laptop to Mr. John due to it being slow. He repaired it quickly. He lets you know up front what repairs are needed before proceeding with the repairs. The cost was very reasonable. My computer works like brand new. He guarantees his work so if you have problems he will educate you and help you fix it. I am thankful for Mr. John teaching me how to properly care for my lap top. When my desktop reflected a blue screen, I took it to Geek Squad. I was quoted a high price just to run a diagnostic test! In additional, I was told I should think about getting a new computer. I had a very technical problem with my laptop fan and went to many technicians to help me fix it. But only Mr. John was able to get the job done. He not only fixed it but also helped me fix other problems for a super reasonable price. He also fixed it faster than even I anticipated. My 8 yr old laptop suddenly would not boot one morning of Christmas week. I was shocked because it seldom had any issues, much less a major one. I thought about just throwing it away, but then realized that I had spent much time combining and organizing pictures from 3 different cell phones. To make matters worse, no backup(s). Ouch. I found John by simply Goodland quality laptop repairs near me. Reviews were almost too high to believe.
In around 24 hrs the computer was ready and working. John fixed corrupted files, deleted unnecessary/temp files, etc. Then he sent me on my way with a very reasonable bill and a few tips for me to possibly keep the old laptop going! If I have future problems, I'll be back to him quickly.

Saw the reviews for this place and decided to gave it a shot to see if our 10 year old desktop could be fixed from the blue screen of death and to see if we could save a bunch of pictures on the hard drive. He has a little place in a shopping center that is undergoing renovation. Don't let that bother you as this business and owner is amazing. John looked at it quickly and gave me a diagnosis within 24 hours with an estimate.
He was able to not only fix it, but added a faster SSD and we went from Windows 8 to 10. And he was able to back up all our data as well. Whole process took 2 days and half of that time was my wife deciding what we wanted to do. The computer is now super fast and it all cost barely half of what I would have paid for a new laptop we were looking at online. This is my new place for computer repairs in Pearland.

Awesome service! We took our laptop because we were having issues logging in because of the original user settings. My youngest uses his computer to complete class work virtually and locked his computer. Mr. John was able to reset everything and get everything restored within 24 hours! I came in to get a diagnostic of my custom computer. I knew I had had previous issues with my motherboard with this issue, but wasn't sure if the same cause was true here. I took it to John here after taking the advice of other reviews to call for his availability first. It's a small place, filled with computers in various stages of repair: very old fashioned. John met me and my comp, quickly confirmed my first suspicions of hardware failure but informed me that he would need more time to do hardware diagnostics.
He took from start of business until 5pm to check every other part in the event that another component was at fault or if he could outright repair my issue. While he couldn't fix the problem, John was exhaustive in his checks and confirmed my bad mobo (which realistically was exactly what I had brought it in for, even if him fixing it was a distant hope).
As he promised, the diagnostic without a fix cost me nothing but still gave me actionable information. More important here was the follow up. After asking John about the solution (new motherboard), he immediately followed up that I needed to also get other components or my computer would fizzle again (which again was exactly what had happened here). It's this extra bit, which could very easily save me a heck of a lot of stress and care a few years down the line, that sold me on this experience. Again, John got no pay for this visit, and won't get a kickback from my buying the extra parts (tho did recommend me a good shop that I also knew of), but still did his best to make sure I was in better shape leaving his shop than entering it. I'd say that's worth 5 stars for any industry, no?

I'm so thankful that my laptop is back running and working great! My only complaint is that you have to call, text, etc. before you go to the actual shop or you're likely to be met with a locked door. I think the open hours need to be adjusted to let customers know when he is not likely to be there. It would save time, gas, and frustration.

I woke up this morning to find my desktop for my home office dead on arrival. I work from home most of the week so I immediately went into freak out mode. I got online to find somewhere relatively local that was open and found John and his store. He took my call and said to bring it right in and he would tell me what was wrong with it on the spot.
Not only did he diagnose a dead hard drive right away, he suggested I drive down the street to Best Buy and buy the new one myself to save money and bring it back to him. He told me he'd have the repair done within a day or so, and within a few hours, I got a text saying that my computer would be ready the same day. I was able to pick up my computer, he showed me everything was working perfectly, and his price was beyond reasonable for any repair, much less the same day. I HIGHLY recommend John. He exudes honesty and competence and I will go back to him for any computer repair I have in the future.

John was very good to work with, was able to take my eight year old MacBook and get it running faster than when it was new. He made the repairs in two days at a cost that was very reasonable. John is very good at what he does and has reasonable prices. My MacBook was really slow and I needed it within a week for a presentation at my sister's baby shower in May. I backed it up and took it to him. He assured me he would have it working at top speed in no time and came through with his promise! When I went to pick it up, he even helped show me how to transfer my files back to my Mac from my Time Machine backups on my external hard drive since I hadn't had to restore my Mac before.
I can say. My Mac is back! It worked great for the baby shower and has since! However, since then I have unfortunately cracked my iPhone screen TWICE and after calling around, I remembered John and called him and he had very reasonable prices and same day repair, both of which are necessary for me in this day and age. When he was done, it looked brand new (besides the scratch marks where I dropped it). I was very pleased with his flawless work and will be using him for any computer/smartphone repairs!

My husband and I have used his services several times on 3 different computers. He has always repaired each of them in a timely manner and even made them all look brand new. I was contemplating buying a new laptop because my screen was broken, keys were missing and my cover was missing for my cd player. I have some little blessings using my computer. I had the screen on my ipad mini replaced here and they did a great job. I needed it done ASAP as I was heading out of town and they stayed open late to get it done for me. They also did it for less money than the other places I talked to and those places couldn't get it done the same day. Definitely a recommended place for your IT repairs.
