Hidden gym of Oak Cliff! If you are looking for delicious Mexican (NOT Tex-Mex!) food in the area, look no further! My husband and I stumbled across Maskaras on our second night living in the area and have come back countless times. The staff are always friendly, the service is quick, and the food is delicious! We usually get the quesabirria tacos with birria broth and chips and guacamole.
So incredibly good! This is the spot we always bring out of town guests. Already looking forward to our next visit! Tips: This restaurant is usually pretty quiet with plenty of seating so it is a great place for a conversation. Also, plenty of parking spots out front!

I stopped here after reading the great reviews, what a joke. I ordered a few fajita tacos and the meat looked mushy, lots of fat and light in color. Looks like it was boiled. I cleaned a taco and still tried it but it tasted so nasty. We also ordered flautas which were ok but the beans looked like they came from a can. Never coming here again. And let's not talk about the non-welcoming deamor from the cashier man, no smile, seemed bother when I asked about the menu, and walked off as soon payment approved. Rude. I only gave it 1 start for the nice decor and cleanliness. And

First time customer! I will definitely be back. Very clean, well lit, and friendly service. Everything came out piping hot and fresh. I had the quesabirra tacos with consome, and my boyfriend had the enchiladas with green sauce. The homemade chips and queso were superb. Awesome atmosphere, just have to be here to see it for yourself.

Very cute place and excellent for old school luche libre lovers! Def took me back to when my son and I were fans. The place is clean and I liked the decorations throughout. The food was good. I had the super burrito and quesabirria tacos with the dipping broth. The associates were very friendly. Would def go back!

My first time here in the oakcliff location. Omg this place is so nice and doesn't and inviting. Eat in or take out. The staff is extra nice and friendly. I ordered 6 Quesatacos de birria and I'm so impressed. Riquisimo los tacos de birria. El consume muy delicioso. The taco has more than enough beef(meat) and very cheesy and crunchy. I would have given it 5 stars if it wasn't because I could have used a lot more of that red chilli sauce the tortilla is dipped in but I still give it a 9out of 10. I will definitely be back and bringing my entire family. Also the inside is definitely very unique and fun.
