Brian is a liar and is grossly incompetent. He claims to have an IT degree from a religious university that doesn't offer any technical degrees.
Business response
We appreciate honest reviews. It is unfortunate that this posting is misleading others with false statements. We have no record of service from this person on or around the date of this posting. Please see out other reviews from actual clients.

Brian is the best! His technical expertise with both the hardware and the software is in the stratosphere. But just as important is the relationship he builds with his clients -- he's always ready to help, and is very generous with his help and his time. He always treats you like you're his most important client. He's helped me many times from 300 miles away, even though I know some of those times he's been pretty tired. He's spoiled me, I don't even want to think of having to call anybody else. Thanks, Brian!

When our laptop went south during the Christmas Holidays 2012. With all of our life on it we felt desperate. As our normal PC repair shop was closed for the holidays, Brian was recommended to us by friends. We gave him a call and discussed the problem. Brian told us what the cost would be, $100. Brian then made a house call, to pick up our laptop when it was convenient for us.

The next afternoon he called to say it was fixed and when would be convenient to drop it off. Since it was my wife's laptop, I ask he could stop by after she got home from work. He said no problem. He explained what the problem was and how he fixed it in language a lay person could understand. My wife had many general PC questions which he was more than happy to answer, never rushing to get done even though it was evening. I would very highly recommend Brian of Firestone Technical Resources to anyone for prompt PC service at a fair price.

Our Computer got very sick, and we were in a BAD situation. We were foolish, since we had a LIFETIME of Family pictures on our computer that we neglected to back-up. We spent about a week trying all sorts of internet-based fixes but things just got worse to the point where we were unable to operate our computer anymore. Brian repaired a very sick computer for us and when it was returned, it ran like a brand-new machine.

Most importantly, all of our data was recovered. So we set out researching our options to get professional computer help. During the initial conversation with Brian, we were able to very quickly determine that he was the person we were going to select to help us. And we are super glad we did - listen to this! During our conversation about the problem we were having with our MAIN PC, we mentioned a story to Brian about a different PC we had a problem with a few years back.

We had experienced a similar problem with a different computer, and in order to fix it, completely re-installed the operating system, and seemed to fix it ourselves. So we got it working again, but unfortunately, we had lost all of our family pictures and any data we had on that machine, so into the basement it went, to wait until one of the kids needed it.

Or so we thought. During the time Brian repaired our MAIN PC, he managed to somehow recover almost all of the precious, and long thought lost pictures we figured were gone forever from the older computer we had stored in the basement. This was a huge bonus and reward for us since we neglected to properly back-up the pictures and figured were lost forever!

Brian conducts himself in that important old-fashioned way, from back in that bygone era, when people took pride in their work, and proudly put their name and quality on the work they do, which is becoming so hard to find in businesses these days.

He is very professional and apparently quite technically adept, as he repaired what to us was an un-fixable computer problem. His price estimate was SIGNIFICANTLY less than all the other options we looked into, and when it was all said and done, and we got our computer back, the only surprise we got was that it all cost less than we had planned it would.

This guy is the real deal. If you have any computer related issues, rest assured, Brian is the go-to guy. We will definitely be working with Brian in the future if we ever need any professional computer help, as well as for sure, telling anyone we know or meet who need a computer person:

"Go to Firestone Technical Resources, and ask for Brian."

Brian is the epitome of customer service. He has worked on our business computer at Glacier Park Storage and did so well that I promptly turned over two personal desktops and two laptops. His service was prompt, complete and unbelievably fair priced. Brian is an honest, ethical business person. I wish my auto mechanic was as fair and efficient. Happy happy. Joy Joy. Thanks Brian !

My computer would not stay on and Brian got in touch with me almost immediately after my inquiry. He was extremely easy to get a hold of from day 1. He replied to emails and answered his cell anytime I needed to talk to him. He listened to the urgency of the need for my laptop since I'm in school and he got to work. He was also willing to drive and meet me where it was convenient for me.

We are a fairly busy retail liquor store and have been running on one computerized cash register for months due to older hardware and an outdated operating system. Needless to say, for the busy New Years Eve rush, that would have been a disaster! I called Brian on December 29th and he was at the store that afternoon. After some troubleshooting, Brian figured it out and had the other two workstations up and running and communicating with the network.

Whew!!

Thank You Brian for coming to our rescue on such short notice!!! I have also used Brian on a couple of other occasions for my own computer--He is honest, thorough, and has helped extend the life of my PC. His rate is also extremely reasonable.

I met Brian at best buy while I was buying a computer and the free information he gave to me freely. I had issues with my computer and was very fustrated with best buy so I remembered I had Brian's card I call him and he told me to come over and with in 20 minutes I was at his place of business. Brian took my computer and fixed it and had my computer finished it the same day and I am very satisfied with his service and would recommend his business to any one who told me about their computer problems. Thank you so much.

I'm a mom that needed her family laptop fixed. Most places charge a diagnostic fee and take a few days to get back to you. When they do, the news is always 'you need...' and 'it will cost you this'

Not this time....I learned so much about my system. I wasnt charged until they looked at it and Turn around time was fast.

Prices are super reasonable and service is personal.

They are very knowledgable PLUS they understood my need for protecting my family and well Firestone Technical Resources is just gonna be our go-to-people for all our tech problems.

As a Day Trader that requires internet access to my trading platform every day all day, and a professional photographer, my PC is serious lifeline. Most importantly, since adapting to a digital shooting format after decades of being a purist in photographic processes, my digital originals must now be backed up as they are priceless and irreplaceable without a 'negative'.

One evening at 6pm while restarting my PC, I ran into a 'boot-loop' problem. I could not get Windows XP to load. I'm geeky with technology savvy, but this was out of my league and devastating consequences loomed with my fine art photography images and 15yrs of personal files on a separate hard drive within my PC. Having moved to Denver recently, I had no contacts in town I knew or could trust.

I panic called my 'PC Guy' back in NYC to see if he could help. He believed I had very serious Virus or Malware issue, said shut it down and get it to a local Pro ASAP. My first call was to the local Best Buy Geek Squad. I arrived within the hour with PC Tower in hand. They tried to take me to the cleaners $ before they would even look at it. Blah blah blah. Then, the desk clerk backed out on his 2 day turnaround promise over the phone and changed to a 3-5 day in-person, before they could even diagnose the issue, I walked out the door. Fugget about it 1.

My second call was to my brother-in-law. Nice try. Turns out, the place he uses has short hours, as well as a boat load of complaints via the BBB. Fugget about it 2.

So, I had no choice but to travel 50 mile that evening to a friend's home near Firestone Colorado so I could day-trade from her PC beginning at 5:30am the next morning. While researching online for a local pro in that area, I came across the Firestone Technical Resources website. Brian's written words sounded honest, a local business man with integrity, had an emergency service number to call, and silly as it may sound I liked the black and white photo he has on the website of two young women whispering in their ears eluding to the power of word of mouth advertising.

I called him at 8am ! He actually answered promptly and was able to take on my PC within the hour, and even offered to come pick it up! Within 3hrs he diagnosed the issue as a Virus, and within 24hrs cleaned up my system, contacted me twice with updates, installed the proper combination of Anti-Virus and Malware suites, uninstalled the crappy software I was using, and even cleaned the Tower inside out.

And all that at a price I could not believe while leaving me with a peace of mind that my troubles were over. I also went out and immediately purchased a Seagate 1 Terabyte external hard drive to back up my digital photography. I highly recommend Firestone Technical Resources for any and all of your PC work, he will absolutely not disappoint and communicate calmly with a smile.

My computer went to the Windows DOS screen and I wanted someone local to help me fix it. I also wanted someone to come to my house instead of taking it in to someone. Brian came out within the hour of our phone call, assessed the problem and gave me an estimate of the cost to repair. He was very honest and upfront and I knew I could trust him. He took my computer and had it fixed and came back and returned it and set everything up for us. I would recommend Brian to anyone in the Northern Colorado area!!

I had an issue with an anti-virus service called "PC Defender Pro 2010", the software felt impossible to remove from my laptop. It was corrupting my system and I had no clue what to do. After a couple of minutes of talking to Mr. Brian Wright he immediately knew what the probably was and after a few hours of work my computer was as good as new! I am completely satisfied with the work and will be always going back to Firestone Technical Resources for my computer needs. Thanks!
