These guys were fantastic! They fixed my computer quickly at my residence. I don't have to pull cables of my computers, no hassles. They do all the work, they gave me straight answers. I called them in the morning and they showed up a couple of hours later and fixed my problem the same day. The technician methodically checked my system and fixed any problems he ran across. I was very happy to write them a check for the payment. Their charges were very reasonable. What a GREAT service! This was what happened to me before these Fast Teks guys fixed my computer problem: My computer gradually was getting slower and slower up to the point where it was unbearable. I called several places to get price quotes to get my computer fixed and asked for a timeframe when it can be fixed. I was getting frustrated with the answers I got. Here were some of them: You need to bring your computer in, we need to check it out and then we may be able to get you an estimate We don't know how long it will take to fix your computer but bring them in, we will check it out and then we may be able to give you an estimate on how long it will take We don't have technicians available until next week. The worst was when some of these guys were trying to sell me a new computer without even checking what the problem was with my current computer. I guess they did that because they were partners or employed by a computer store. I am glad I don't have to call around anymore since I know these Fast Teks guys can help me solve my computer problems at home and at my business. Called these guys again to setup up a couple of new computers and wireless networking. All work was done quickly, accurately and completely. They made sure that our computing environment are secure. No hassles at all and they showed up on time!

My laptop would not turn on/boot up and I was frantic to find someone to come out to my home office that same day. After trying to contact several area PC repair company's in the Fox Valley area, I found Fast-Teks. I spoke directly to the owner of the company and he was at my location in South Elgin within one hour. Fast-Teks spent a day and a half at my location and was able to repair my laptop. I even went to Geek Squad in So. Elgin to simply get a back-up of my C drive as all of my business files are on there, and the young kids working there could not help me at all. Fast-Teks owner and technician were able to diagnose my problem and fix it. They spent well over 12 hours with me and only charged me for 2 hour, as a matter of fairness as my problem was related to a broken fan, causing the laptop to overheat and shut down. Fast-Teks is an extremely fair and knowledgable, locally-based company and I would recommend them to anyone in need of PC repair or maintenance. They delivered on their promise to get me back up and running. Their customer service is awesome. I'm happy to see that there are still company's out there that offer good old-fashioned service even for today's hi-tech problems.

Fast-teks maintains my small office network of 12 computers. Before Fast-teks started doing monthly maintenance, my computers were slow and sometimes they wouldn't work at all. Now I don't have any problems with my network and it runs smoothly 24/7.
