A complete rip off. I brought my computer in to be assessed due to water damage and they tried to rip me off by claiming that every component was destroyed. I took my computer to another place and the graphics card and hard drive were fine. Stay away! When I told Rick and his employee what happened the employee got confrontational. Stay away.

Computer Troubleshooters EXCEEDS expectations. I dropped off my laptop at the end of the day for general cleanup service and to repair a "beeping" sound. The problem was diagnosed and fixed very quickly, and my laptop was ready by noon the next day! I was expecting that they would have it far longer, which is why it took me so long to get it there in the first place for MUCH NEEDED maintenance. I am also subscribing to their "cloud" backup - perfect for me because I am not good at doing these things myself. If my computer crashed I would be totally lost. I would have no hesitation to recommend Computer Troubleshooters to anyone who has a computer.
Rick is a very knowledgeable guy. I'd definitely recommend him to anyone looking for computer support.
Emory saved my bacon when it came to retrieving all my data from an old PC that had completely crashed. He got me up and running on a new laptop within two days. HIGHLY RECOMMEND !!!
Last week, the feed on my printer died. In connecting with Rick Van Akin, he was able to give me some quick advice in order to decide what to do next. When it suddenly became urgent this weekend for me to have a working printer, I went out and bought one, brought it home and struggled for 3 hours to get it to work correctly.
Being a Sunday night, I had little recourse but to finally give up. I contacted Rick first thing this morning, and he was able to support me remotely, even though I hadn't purchased the unit through him. Without his assistance, I would have gone to a speaking engagement without any handouts! Not a good thing...
I highly recommend Rick for his knowledge, insight, and flexibility. You can be certain I'll be coming back to him again!
