Jim Millerick founded Complete Systems Design after nearly 20 years of IT support and management leadership. Jim started out his career in purchasing for a large industrial organization (Textron) where he initially learned to negotiate better pricing so that his budget could go further. Jim worked his way through the ranks initially as a systems tech and programmer to management at a nationwide investment firm (JER). Our main production server suffered a hardware failure last night at 8:01 PM. I was contacted by our CSD rep at 8:07 to verify if it was a scheduled shutdown. I told them no and asked them to investigate. 5 minutes later they reported that our RAID controller was dead. I asked how soon we could be back online thinking if we had to restore it might be a while.
They assured me it was no big deal and told me it would be just a few minutes. They failed over to our replication server which was completely up to date on everything on our production server in under 10 minutes! We had 8 virtual servers fully functional in just a matter of minutes after I told them it was OK to bring them online. It was our first time we needed this service in a real situation so imagine how delighted I was that we were operational before our end-users even came in to the office.
The replication server was a bargain; I didn't even have to buy a new server, they just reused our old server and added more disk drives to it. A fantastic use of old hardware for so little money! They made the changeover remotely so we didn't even need anyone to go on site. They opened a case with our hardware manufacturer to arrange for a replacement part which was under warranty. Great exprience and top notch service!

I've been working with Jim for about 4 years now. I was skeptical about having a contracted IT service as I feared I would get nickel and dime'd every chance they would get. Jim has been extremely fair and considerate as it pertains to what is a billable call/service vs. giving guidance on an issue. He's very knowledgeable and proactive in his approach. He also makes it onsite at a moments notice if need be. I feel very comfortable focusing on other areas of my business with Jim on watch. I would highly recommend him.

We have worked with Jim for over 4 years. He is quick to respond when addressing issues or to assist in configuration questions and requests. I consider myself technologically inclined, but often, IT configurations and concepts can be confusing. Jim does a great job of explaining things in a way that anyone can understand.
