Even though they could not recover pictures on my 20 year old hard drive, they tried. Very polite, just adored how the owner treated me like a friend. I would recommend this place to anyone. I wasn't just a number, like these chain stores, I was a person. Thank you. We need more small businesses like you to fight to stay open. Paula Bauer.

When my MacBook Air started having problems, Compugig was highly recommended to me so I took it there. I explained clearly from the beginning that I was pretty sure there was a problem with my hard drive due to storage issues with the Macintosh updated apple kept doing. I dropped it off on a Monday morning and they said I'd get a call in 2 days knowing what's wrong.

Well two days passed and I didn't hear anything. So on Thursday I called, only to find out that it was in fact the hard drive that needed replaced however they don't work on macs. So I asked, "why did you have me pay the diagnostic fee if you don't work on macs?" And it was responded with, "we can work on them if it's hardware, but not the hard drive.

We can't even take an image of it." I'm really disappointed that this was never explained from the beginning especially when I clearly stated and wrote on the form when I dropped it off that I was pretty sure it was a hard drive issue. So now I'm out $70 for a computer they couldn't even fix because they don't work on macs but was never honest about it from the beginning. The overall was staff was kind, I only wish there had been more honesty from the beginning.

Great staff and techs very nice and helpful, front desk understood my concern and asked the tech if he could help me and right away they said they'd help me out. They put a new fan on my 1080ti and ran tests for me to make sure it worked. Overall very happy with the business 5/5 forsure!

While the folks at CompuGig weren't able to fix my problem, everyone I interacted with was friendly and they looked into my issue very quickly. I've only listed them as 4 stars as I was referred to a very expensive data recovery service, which in reality was not necessary. I did some additional research on my own and was able to send my hard drive away to be fixed for only $60 (only the electrical component needed replacing).

I don't necessarily blame them since it was a very weird issue, but I wish they had done a bit more research before throwing in the towel. I know many folks who would have just taken their word and gone for the expensive service. Make sure to do your own research!

Had my cracked pc laptop screen replaced at Compugig. The replaced screen quality was not up to what I had on my original screen. When I expressed my concern to them, they were anxious to make me happy. They replaced the screen promptly and without question. I was very pleased with their quick response to my problem and would recommend their services.

They are an awesome crew! Very knowledgeable and friendly. I brought in my custom built pc (only 2 months old) that kept blue screening on me. I couldn't figure it out and neither could my friend who helped my build it. I brought it to CompuGig and let them look at it for a week to run various tests. Fortunately (and Unfortunately) all the tests passed and the computer never crashed or blue screened while they had it.

They said it could be something that I have connected to it possibly. They said they would keep the ticker open and if it happens again, they would look at it and not charge me twice (thank you!).4 hours after bringing it home, it blue screened. I brought it back to them and this time it did crash in the possession and because of that, they were able to determine what part was causing the problem.

As it was under warranty, I was able to get it replaced and since then, it has been smooth sailing. I don't really leave reviews but I felt I needed to for this. I spend $1,900 on a computer that I thought was cursed and was thinking about parting it out, but these guess were able to save me from that aggravation. On top of that, they are also very personable and friendly.that you guys, I appreciate it so very much.

If I could give 6 stars I would. As a family owned business, it is clear that they take pride in delivering a high level of service at a reasonable price. They have cultivated an excellent support staff that goes out of its way to share knowledge and make strong fact based recommendations. I was pleased to have worked with them on a few projects, most recently setting up a NAS / PLEX service for my home.

They gave me options at various cost points and weighed the pros and cons of each. When one item was delivered at a spec that was not what was anticipated, they quickly had a replacement component shipped to my home. I plan to leverage this team on future tech projects and would recommend you do the same.

Had a very positive experience @ CompuGig / Cranberry. My recently out-of-warranty laptop had a cooling fan issue which they quickly diagnosed & ordered parts for. The fans arrived a few days later & were installed within an hour. Great staff / great service - thank you!

Co-owner is incredibly rude and disrespectful of other's time. Techs will leave issues unresolved if they weren't explicitly addressed beforehand without even bringing it to the customer's attention. Very disorganized business, stemming from rampant mismanagement. Even first entering the shop looks like a ghost town, shelves are barren and empty save for some unmarked cardboard boxes under the display racks. I'd recommend anywhere else. Best Buy might be more expensive, but they act professional and take their business and customers seriously.

CompuGig was helpful, knowledgeable, and incredibly friendly and personable. Despite specializing in Dell computers, they were able to repair the cracked screen and broken fan on my HP touchscreen laptop which had been damaged during a flight. I was only in the area for a short time, but they called regularly to update me on the progress of the repair, got my OK before ordering parts or conducting repairs, and when the parts didn't arrive before I had to leave, they shipped my computer to me fully repaired. And they did this all at a very reasonable price that saved me having to buy a new computer. I would absolutely recommend them for any computer repair needs.
