Their primary focus was to offer the Bismarck/Mandan community a part time computer rental store with an emphasis on Rent To Own. While operating out of a basement and placing ads in the local yellow pages, business soon increased and the operation was moved to 1102 S Washington St. With a steady business of rental contracts, the need for repairs and replacement components became a necessary part of the business. A third party supplier was established and the rebuilding and building of computers was incorporated into the business.

Charles came out and cured my PC today of a virus. I was dumb and downloaded something I shouldn't have, he took great care of it and obviously knew what he was doing. He was also able to explain the process for me and give me a little lesson on types of viruses and malware. Best experience I've had for customer service in computer repair!

We purchased a laptop 1 year and 1 month ago. We were told at the time it was the "best" home laptop they carried! The had their own software, anti virus etc installed. I immediately had trouble with Family Tree Maker software (which is all I use the computer for). The software company could not get the software to install. I took it to C-RAM and the staff was defensive and blamed the software.

I never did get it to install and I'd used this software for a decade! (This was a new version too). This week it was determined by C-Ram the software they installed was corrupted and the hard drive needed to be replaced. The computer is Just over a year old, just out of warranty, never ran the software we wanted it too! C-Ram would not cover the cost of a new hard drive.

We opted to not have C-Ram fix the hard drive. They then billed us $45 for looking at it! Do not buy a computer here! The machine was substandard and the service is not what I expect from a local business,

Virus removal 170.00 ridiculous! Paid 90.00 in Wisconsin. The rep failed to tell my husband the cost, I could have bought a new laptop for 240.00. When I stated my dismay I was told they were the cheapest in town. Not true I checked, I told them that and they said Who? I said The computer geeks at Best Buy they laughed. So what a slam to Best Buy I guess they feel they are superior to Best Buy. Would not recommend this place way out of line on their prices.

Definitely a Raving Fan of C-RAM. Excellent, Excellent, Excellent! Professional from start to finish. Can't say enough good things about these guys. This is my second computer with them since 2008. Worked with Todd and Devon who custom made my computer based on what I was looking for. I would not go anywhere else nor would I buy a manufactured computer online that in a few years could be outdated and without a warranty. C-RAM stands behind their work, and it is nice to have that face to face interaction.

This business completely sucks and is OVERPRICED. Went in wanting to see if I could get a gaming computer for around $500-$600 and they laughed in my face and said "its going to cost a lot more than that for a gaming computer, you'll have to spend at least $1,000.00 for a decent one if you want to play games like Battlefield and Call of Duty." I then realized that they must think I'm stupid or something and decided I probably should build it myself and I looked at some of the hardware components in their store and noticed they carry no AMD products at all, all Intel. Went home and ended up ordering all the parts and doing the build myself for a decent 4K gaming computer and it was $512.00 after shipping.

Also I should note that the AMD GPU that I didn't purchase here because they simply don't carry AMD products can play most but not all games games at 3840 x 2160 resolution on high to ultra settings and still get over 60 frames per second on most games. Which is anything but a "bare bones" build. Goes to show how stupid and unprofessional the staff at C Ram in Bismarck really are. If you end up needing anything computer hardware or computer related services just go to best buy.

The company is ran by a bunch of friendly, competent, and professional people! They fixed this laptop of mine very quickly and only charged me for what needed to be done unlike the lameass service that was given to me by the bozos at the Geek Squad! For top notch service for all your electronic equipment, C-Ram is the place to go!

They have fixed my virus infected work computer twice over a period of about two years. The one time it was so bad that when you powered up the computer it did nothing. I was sure all my data was gone. I had an external hard drive with thousands of pictures spanning many years that quit working. I brought it to them and they were able to take it apart and pull the drive out of it and retrieve my many family pictures.

I purchased a laptop computer from them as well and it was not over priced as others have said. I have nothing but praise for this company and would recommend them to anyone. Dave

My laptop was broken and I didn't know what to do. My BF suggested the local joint, and I - for once - took his word for it. When I dropped my computer off, David impressed me with his knowledge of what caused the problem and the timeframe (one day!) he quoted me. I'm not sure exactly what was so wrong that 90 minutes of work was needed (i.e $90), but since the computer is working so perfectly right now, I suppose it was worth it. *Summer hours are M-F, 8-6.
