A-Tec Computer A-Tec offers reasonably-priced solutions to a multitude of computing and technology issues. I have a creative can-do attitude but at the same time, I can also see the last domino fall and will recognize early on when a repair may involve more money than the issue is worth.

My diagnosis is free (less travel) and I realize that this policy does not always generate immediate business, but my strong business ethic is to honestly advise potential customers based on what I would do if it were my issue. Sometimes it's better to cut your losses and NOT repair a computer. I will give you some possible repair options and then advise you on what I would do.

Malware Removal
Report
You have found one of central Kentucky's experts on malware removal. I've removed more than enough of today's modern malware to know how it operates, how to detect it, how to safely remove the associated files/registry entries and how to reverse the varied damages it causes.
Areas of service include Nicholasville, Lexington, Versailles, Richmond, Georgetown, Danville, Lancaster and nearby Kentucky communities. You are probably aware MIcrosoft announced that "Extended Support" of Windows 7 Service Pack 1 has ended. This means that Microsoft is longer issuing security updates as they once did.
Full time service availability - I am always on-call. I am usually available on short notice anytime during the weekdays, evenings, most weekends and even most holidays. Your emergency is my emergency. My service area is the Jessamine, Fayette, Woodford, Madison, Scott, and Boyle county region in Kentucky but I can travel farther within reason.
My malware removal technique is unique and was developed and perfected during countless and successful removals for customers. It begins with identifying the family of the active malware and proceeds from there where I take actions in a certain order based on the malware type and damages present. After my manual removal/repair, I perform system scans to be sure all remnants, hidden and dormant files from the present and past infections are gone and obscure settings are restored.Removal attempts by random methods can make the problem worse.
First - if you not familiar with the Windows start menu, I can show you around and take the mystery out of working your computer. You don't have to be in the dark. It's actually easy once I explain it and have you click around. You need to know where your things are. People are learning it and most actually like the new advanced, more configurable menu once the mystery is removed.

I got this virus that took over my laptop and it would not even show my desktop. Steve was recommended to me through a business acquaintance who said he is truly the best. I am now a believer.
