Last year I took my pc to these guys. It was getting really slow during bootup and said there were errors on the hard drive. I could have installed one myself, but these guys said they could copy my files and programs onto a new hard drive and save me tons of time and effort.
I waited over a week to hear from them, then I finally called them several times before they called me back, almost 2 weeks after I had dropped it off. They told me they had been unable to get it to boot up at all. They said I had probably killed it during transport.
Granted it was older (about 7 years old), but it was working when I had it and I was careful during transport. And why did it take them so long to let me know they were never able to get it to even boot up? So now it's no longer just a new hard drive and data copy but a very expensive data recovery and possibly a new power supply.
And even though they knew I was unhappy about how I'd been basically forgotten, they offered me nothing in return. So I picked up my very expensive media pc and there it sits--dead. I don't trust these guys after they way they seemed to be avoiding contact with me so I will not use them for any of the other 2 pcs or 2 laptops in my household.
